Lunch Matters

Great little breakfast/lunch restaurant. Excellent service and big hearty portions. You will not leave still feeling hungry. Great prices too, range from 8-12$ on most items. Loved it!

Fantastic diner in the heart of downtown Vernon. Have dined for breakfast/ lunch several times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast special includes coffee for less than $10. Large portions with homemade hash browns, or half and half option of sliced tomatoes, 2 eggs, 3 pieces of meat and 2 slices of toast. Also tried the burger for lunch and it was most satisfying.

Great little local place for a satisfying breakfast or lunch. Good traditional breakfast choices, and good lunch menu. Staff very kind with great service.

Excellent farmers breakfast, plenty to eat and the daily breakfast was also enjoyed. Little tricky to find parking. Best bet on the street south of the restaurant.

Great food, served by a very warm and inviting owner. I would give this place an extra star if I was allowed! Wish I could find a place like this back in Calgary, but will have to wait till my next trip out here to enjoy it again. PS. My kids loved it too :- keep up the good work.

Service alone was very slow, and not very friendly, however I will say there must have been a shift change and the younger lady we had finish our table was very friendly. Our food was mediocre, the steak was well over cooked, and the hashbrowns were considerably undercooked. We were not asked how the first few bites were which is service 101. I would find better places to stop for a bite.

Service alone, was amazing. I’ve literally never wrote a review before but this restaurant deserves it!! I think our server was named Rayne, she was so polite and cheery she really made the atmosphere complete in the restaurant. Food was amazing as well. Great place to stop in while you’re in Vernon BC.

My son and I come every Monday at early morning hockey practice. The staff is amazing, good is always hot, fresh and fast! We look forward to coming every week- delicious food with amazing value for dollar and the absolute best service!!
