Not sure the name of the guy behind the bar…but he was real friendly. This place has a killer happy hour…I paid $4 for a Kona Big Wave draft normally I think they are $5…which is still a heck of a deal. I’ll be back here 100%
If you are looking for some great night life. Come to Lucky's and have a good time. Have a drink and dance a little. During the day it is a complete different scene, calm and a straight sports bar. Great then as well.
Rating: 2.3 out of 8 stars {'J.S._BAR' Rating} - Very low Moderately good service -- with some amount of rudeness by staff, and the larger exception of indecency by the security guard, who supposed that I was drunk after just one drink with very poor reasoning, I might add - more than once, and was extremely disrespectful when asking me to leave. Some staff were friendly or at least moderately respectful -- others -- well, they were not. I might also add that because I danced with the others in the bar - who were also dancing before me - this was part of the security guard's reasoning for assuming that I was drunk or hi.
Only good thing about luckys is that you can get drunk there. The staff are rude and pretentious, the bar itself always has the wrong crowds coming in. You're more likely to get shot or stabbed then have a good time at this bar.
Wednesday night was fairly slow, which was nice for a while. To be able to relax, listen to a FIRE playlist, then play a few games of free pool between 2-8pm sounds like an alright night to me! ;-

The new door guy, I think his name is neo, I’m sorry if I got the name wrong!!! He is an absolute sweetheart, everytime I come to Luckys I feel safe on the days he is there, I ran into him a few times on days that he isn’t working and it always makes me feel comfortable to see he is present given Luckys reputation in the past, he is very considerate of female customers and he is always checking in with me to make sure I’m having a good time, NEO IF YOU SEE THIS KEEP BEING YOU AND STOP WORRYING SO MUCH!!!! You’re a fantastic guy and you’re good at your job!!!! I look forward to coming back with friends knowing you’re gonna look out for us
We had a blast at this place. It was absolutely packed, but everybody was there to have a good time, no trouble. The service was great and my tab was way to high, but that's how it goes when you're dancing and having a good time for the first time since the onset of the pandemic. Not sure how this place is during the day, but it was bonkers at sundown.
Amazing staff. Everyone puts a great cocktail together. A little small on outdoor seating- but that’s the city’s fault. Good prices on beer- nice quiet spot upstairs to play pool on weekdays- SUPER busy on weekends. My favorite downtown spot.
