I was really excited to have lucky wok again. First time I’ve ordered since the explosion and new owners. Was very disappointed when I found this plastic piece of something in my fried rice. Can’t tell what it is, but it’s concerning to find this in my food.
Coming from a big city that has plentiful of great Chinese food, Lucky Wok was a pleasant surprise during our cottage trip nearby! It's been a while since I've had Chinese-Canadian food and wow, was it delicious! Super fresh and tasty. The Ginger Beef was so unique and mouthwatering with a hint of spice and sweetness... I'm craving it now along with the egg rolls. They were plentiful, crispy, and full of meat and bean sprouts. I haven't had ones before this good and that generous with the filling and this is coming from someone who has tried one too many spring/egg rolls. Only gripe I have is that I wish I lived closer! Definitely worth a shot if you're nearby.
Different people have the Lucky Wok now. Food is ok but not delicious like it was before. They definitely have the worst egg roll I've ever had won't get 1 of those again but again it is ok & a night off from cooking.
Little disappointed. New owners should have changed the name. Foods not as good. Especially didn't care for the chunks of fat in the meat, Pork was the worst. Serving sizes are smaller and I am paying More now.
Food was delicious. Had a bit longer wait as it was busy for pick up but food was hot and fresh tasting. Very happy to finally have great Chinese food and close by.
