We love to come to come for Happy Hour. The prices are great but the food is even better. We come right at 3 before it gets real busy. We love to sit in the outside patio because of covid. The cosmopolitans are very good. We really enjoy the flat breath pizzas. We also love the bread here. It's the best! The waitresses are always friendly. Parking: Lots of room for parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheel chair accessibility.
First time at Lucky's. We've tried going multiple times before, but they are always busy at dinner time. We finally made it in last week. I really like the atmosphere of Lucky's. It's a cool hangout spot that is also comfortable for dining. Our server told us she was new and asked for forgiveness if she seemed "off," but she did an amazing job for us and the tables around us that she was serving. The drink menu was nice and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken gnocchi with a side of au gratin potatoes. My wife ordered a chicken entree with bacon and peppers. My meal was good, although the chicken was kind of dry and lacked flavor. The gnocchi was great. Potatoes were good, but again, they felt like they lacked salt and seasonings. My wife really liked her chicken dish, but broccoli tasted too watery. None of the food was bad enough that we didn't eat it. it just felt like the spice rack wasn't used enough. Overall, great service, good prices, good food. We'll be back again.
Came for lunch and ordered the Maryland Chicken, with a cup of French onion soup and the fettuccine Alfredo side. Additionally, the table had the appetizer sampler and calamari. The sampler was huge and decently tasty. The French onion soup was delicious; very flavorful broth. The Maryland Chicken dish was good, but not great. The crab/shrimp topping was very flavorful and not overpowering. The "grilled" asparagus which came with the dish was a bit woody and had no evidence of being grilled no char or grill marks. The fettuccine alfredo was not very warm when it arrived, and the sauce was uninspired. I also ordered a slice of their carrot cake, which was great as always. The service was good; no issues outside of the food being a touch less than warm.
After doing a little research this location kept coming up as Lansings top 5 steaks, so we had to try. Arrived for a date night at about 5 on a Sunday. The service was a little slow but the food was great. The table bread was phenomenal, inconveniently served in a bag but delicious. We ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were pretty good filled with a crabcake type filling. We both ordered medium rare steaks different cuts and one came out pretty well done. We opted to take it home to grandma who loves a good overcooked steak and boy did she enjoy it. The top sirloin must be what everyone was talking about because it was amazing and large enough to feed two. Seriously we have talked about how perfectly the one steak was cooked and we will return for the great value. I will return for the medium rare top sirloin for sure.
The menu is actually pretty amazing. You can order steak and seafood. We also ordered crabcakes and they were delicious. A little salty but they were still delicious. Our service was absolutely amazing. My guest loved it.
This was our first visit to this restaurant and So we look forward to our dinner. Well I'll begin with the good things my wife's dinner was perfect it was hot And it was delicious it was the salmon New Orleans and my wife loved it. My dinner on the other hand came out cold and all the sides were cold. I had prime rib ordered medium rare and came out well done and cold...even the Sauteed onion and mushrooms were cold. Had the waitress take everything back... and within 10 minutes had a new dinner that was very good. The only problem being didn't get to eat dinner with wife. We talked to the managers about this and they took 20% off our bill and offered to give us a free dessert. If I were to eat here again I would make sure that I ordered dishes that take the same amount of time to prepare for their chef seems to be inexperienced and cannot get timing right for two separate dinners. The waitress staff was great so that was a plus.
It has a sports bar atmosphere and some decent food. The fish and chips were hand battered, but some filets were good and others were mush. The shrimp scampi which came late out of kitchen without noodles. Salmon new orleans was good, except for broken shells. Crab stuffed salmon with excellent lobster sauce. Great garlic bread. Hand battered delicious coconut shrimp. Delicious stuffed mushrooms. Our waitress worked her butt off, She carried drinks, carried food, watered table twice, and cleared table. We sat in sight of hostess stand. Four hosts goofed off for the two hours we were there. They could have watered the tables or restocked bathrooms with TP or cleared tables.
I smelled the grill from my hotel and I had to walk over. It did not disappoint! Great service and great prices for a steakhouse. I had the NY Strip and plenty of sides to choose from. The soup or salad were included and I had a giant beer and walked out of there under $30. Very glad I chose Lucky's for dinner.
The service was OK. She kept forgetting to bring things. The food was not OK. I'd heard really good things about this place so I drove for an hour to go there for my birthday. Ordered a medium porterhouse, loaded baked potato and salad. Received a well done steak. Replaced with a rare steak. I didn't eat it. You just can't send it back twice right? My daughter ordered a shrimp and chicken pasta and I showed the server a black piece of chicken and she asked me what it was. My response... Exactly. The chicken was burned beyond recognition. My child literally spit it out and tried to eat around it. She threw it out when we left. We were seated immediately but it was over an hour before we received the meal. Very disappointed
2 stars only because the wait staff seemed like they are trying hard. Ordered a well done NY strip. Swimming in grease and water, grainy and dry. either they pre cooked or they gave me a sirloin. Mashed potatoes had that hard outer crust on them like they were sitting under lamp for too long and bitter like the cream and turned. Couldn't eat. Instead of trying to make it right they just took food away and didn't charge me. Didn't even care about what was wrong with food. Steak shouldn't be grey and swimming in grease
