We came back for a shopping spree. I got neck bones and had to try an egg salad sandwich for lunch. It was a good Sammy. My kids got to each do shopping sprees thanks to the grandparents spoiling them for Easter. I love this store!nnWe stopped in this week to pick up the infamous bologna . We got home to Edmonton and I tried it. It's really good. Would be great in a sandwich. The slices are thicker than ones you buy prepackaged at a mainstream supermarket. I tried the beef Jerky too. Was good. Salty, not sweet. I shared with my pups and cousin. We all approved. I Also bought 2 packs of oxtail. Looks like a great place to get soup ingredients. I'll be back. Next time I'll get some of thier home made sandwiches. Looks good.
Jim is always helpful. The cashiers need greeting people course blond is rude af... anyways I will always say Much respect my dude Jim. Amazing place. Prices on some items are outrageous. But it is what it is. Gotta love that bologna thooooo
I love lucky dollar been there since I was a kid, Jim makes the world go around
Jim runs a great store. Always has what is needed and the staff are kind and more than willing to help out to point out what is on sale. Also Chris in the meat department is a great help. Kudos to Lucky Dollar foods.
The best egg salad sandwiches, beef jerky, and friendly staff! Jim has owned this place for 30+ years and is one of the kindest, most trusting guys I know. Fred in the back is also a gem. He recommended the canned blueberries on vanilla ice cream. This treat is to die for!! I’m not lying! Go and give it a try.
