I decided to do a Christmas Dinner at Luciano's. We were a group of 32 people. The staff did an amazing job helping me organize the evening. They did a set menu which made the service quick and easy. It was a very warm and cozy restaurant, and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend for groups! 10/10
Made a reservation for a large group, and we were accommodated very well! They reserved the whole restaurant for us. Food was great, portions were large, service was timely. New owners as of November 2022, and they are doing great with the place!
Beautiful and warm place. It definitely make you feel as if you were seated in a resto in Italia with food that reinforce that feeling. Made me and my spouse fall in love with pasta. We do recommend Luciano
If you like huge portions of pasta at a decent price and a BYOB to boot, you'll love it here. Bonus points for the waiter's deadpan delivery - the surliness is just an act, so play with it. I always have a good time here and eat quite well!
Upsetting. I have been here nearly 30 times over 5 years. Have recommended to many people; but today I got a dish that was more oil than pasta and I couldn't eat it.... literally a soup of oil. I sent it back which I normally wouldn't do....the 'chef' brought it back and tossed it back in front of me in disgust. Was not a fresh dish, he simply drained the oil and treated us like garbage. I feel bad for rest of the staff as they were kind. Sad, I missed the eccentric elderly gentleman that normally is there to look after us...end of an institution. :
Great service great staff very friendly and of course great pasta cozy tiny restaurant nice lighting and bring your own wine if you are a drinker.
Every time we go to Montreal we definitely make reservations to go here. Fabulous food, try the Ceasar Salad and the meatball appetizer. Other than that all of the rest of the menu is Fabulous. It's just hard to pick.
There was a sanitary inspection while we were there and our server came back at our table saying I quote: << She's from Cameroun how can she say anything, in her country they eat with their hands>>. We left without giving tips. Chose wisely where you want to spend your money. Oh and ! 20 min after eating had to run back home with cramps and had to go ti the bathroom... Never again.
Great food and ambiance! Warm and romantic for a head to head first date or too start the night!
I saw great reviews so decide to bring a friend to eat here as I am new to the area. We waited a few minutes in the entrance and were signaled "no" from a distance without an explanation or even a "hi we are full". Rude greeting, will not go back!
