This might be my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Service was fast and friendly, and the food was awesome. Something as simple as the salsa that comes with the chips was great. Every salsa in Toledo tastes the same. Not this, it is different and really good. I had the Al Pastor burrito, and it was really good. The only issues are that it could have been warmer, some parts of the burrito were cooler than other, and it was served on this strange plastic tray, lined with wax paper. Kinda hard to eat, but that didn't stop me. Next time I go, I'll have to have a drink. You'll really like this place.
We purposely ventured out to Douglas Road in Toledo to check out this restaurant. We found this place by googling authentic Mexican food near me. The entire place is decorated with Mexican professional wrestling “Lucha Libre”. The chairs and table backboards are hand crafted individually you can tell they are not mass produced. The restaurant has amazing authentic Mexican food!! We will most definitely return for round 2.
First off this is a awesome place! The theme is awesome and they go all out inside with the decorations. I got the quesabirria's and they were perfect. I had El Salto's quesabirria's last night and thought they were the best.. But Lucha Libre beat them in my books with a better atmosphere and better dipping sauce for the quesabirria's. We will be going back next time we are on that side of town.
The quesabirria tacos and all the street tacos are absolutely incredible!!! This will be my go to Mexican restaurant. The shrimp street tacos were my favorite. The rice is really good too!Food: 5/5
If you love flavor this place is full of it. The margarita was strong, cheese dip had pepper jack cheese in it I believe, and the burrito was amazing.
I usually drive 30 min. to get my Mexican food. However, it was under renovations and decided to try this place out. My main Mexican restaurant has some competition now! The tacos are very taste with a generous amount of meat. I can't wait to come back and try other items. *Also, don't get this place confused with the Mexican restaurant next to it. It's not nearly as good. ** Suggestion to owner: How about figuring out how to get some Mexican wrestling on the tv? This would be an incredible attraction to fill those empty seats.
Nice place with good food and good margaritas. I ordered a fish taco and the taco el governado. Both were very good and more than enough for me portion wise. The tacos were street tacos served in soft corn tortillas. I had a margarita on the rocks as well, which was also very good.Food: 5/5
I decided to try after reading all the reviews and was not disappointed. First of all it's close to home which is fortunate because I will be returning. I ordered the fried burrito and an order of chips and guacamole. The order did not take long at all. The portions were HUGE. Everything tasted great. The guacamole was well made.
Beautiful interior design! The craftsmanship on their tables and chairs is beautiful, would post a picture if I took one! Great margheritas and the service was awesome. Such a cool looking restaurant. Will return Vegetarian options: Can swap meats out for veggies or beans
All in all incredible experience. I lived in Phoenix AZ before this, and this place is on point with the best in Phoenix. Portions are huge, and the some of the mixed drinks are home made. I ordered a chimichanga - and it was out of this world.Food: 5/5
