Hello, I finally got my stove fixed whoever built the stove, Crossed the wires going into the stove! So I guess at this point, I’m apologizing to Rona, as it wasn’t their fault it was the manufacturer when the stove was built they crossed the wires inside the stove. My frustration was only because the stove was delivered December 20 and today the repair man came and fixed it. That’s a long time to go without a stove after purchasing appliances and did end up costing us a lot of money in takeout. my issue with Rona Belleville still remained due to the fact that if I sold somebody a stove and it did not work after being delivered 48 hours or not, I would look after local families to make sure that they were able to cook the kindness would’ve costed nothing I feel so I’m giving a three star rating due to customer service. I’d like to think that the customer is always right, but I do have to apologize for being so hard on Rona Bellville please accept my apology, but I think you could’ve done better with the customer service. Never mind the red tape. We went a long time without having home cooked meals and we had our grandchildren. Here became very costly and the quality of food wasn’t as good as it could’ve been so please understand and accept my apology. This review is to the owner and the managers of Belleville Rona.
I have been building a small house for the past 4 months and I have purchased a great deal of products from Rona Belleville. I have appreciated the VIP membership so much.nTanya has checked me out at least 90% of the time. She always has a smile and greets me when I come through the door. She is fast, efficient, accurate and always friendly.
I purchased Christmas lights from Rona+ in Belleville on December 23—two sets of mini lights and a roll of LEDs. The LED lights flickered so badly they were unusable, so I kept the mini lights and planned to return the LEDs. On December 29, I went to return them, only to be told they couldn’t be returned because of a “holiday item return policy.” This so-called policy was never communicated at purchase and is only written on a random sign in the returns area. The lights were unused, in their original packaging, and I had my receipt—but none of that mattered.nnThis store has completely fallen apart. Self-checkout is the only option, staff are nowhere to be found, and when you do manage to track someone down, they act like you’re inconveniencing them just by existing. Common sense and basic customer service have been obliterated, replaced by rude, dismissive employees enforcing nonsensical policies with zero flexibility.nnRona+ has lost me as a customer for good. This was my go-to hardware and appliance store, but now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you value your time, money, or sanity, shop elsewhere.nnUPDATE:nnTo make matters worse, I contacted their so-called “customer support,” only to receive a generic email apologizing for the “inconvenience” and offering a 10% discount on a future online purchase. A discount I don’t want, on products I’ll never buy from them again, is an insult—not a solution. It doesn’t address the issue at all and further highlights how disconnected they are from actual customer service.nnResponse Email:nn“We deeply apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Since the purchase was made in-store, it is subject to the store's return policy. We requested an exception for a replacement of your damaged item, but unfortunately, the store has refused.nnHowever, if you're interested, the offer for a 10% discount on your next purchase still stands. This discount is valid for up to a maximum of $100 for regular items and $50 for major appliances.”
Wanted to buy baseboard. Only had required size in 12' lengths. Too long for my van. Apparently, they have no way on site to cut them. Only suggestion was delivery for $80.... ya right.
This is the Rona to go to, they have everything, and multiples of it. Clean store, huge parking, definitely worth the drive if you're from out of town! We tried to find something in the next town over closer to us, but they didn't have it in stock. Even though the website said they did! We came here, not only do they have what we wanted, it was also cheaper than we expected! Sad to say, even cheaper than home hardware which was always our go-to store in the past.
