Lougheed plaza is north-east-burnaby/Coquitlam-adjacent's premier shopping destination. This 2nd tier mall conveniently located the across a 4-lane freeway and a soccer field-sized parking lot is the crown jewel of this soon to be up-and-coming neighborhood. The mall is a great destination for the entire family, at the entrance there is a children's play area where parents seem to leave their kids unattended for hours.
Lougheed Mall used to be a moderately priced, yet conveinent Mall 25 yrs ago..wth movie theatres many moderstely priced clothing & other outlets. But it has undergone a revamp, has lesser & more pricier outlets & lacks variety. The food outlets too are standard N.American fare, No Indian Veg outlets etc. Walmart food items too seem to cater fr Non South Asians. Overall an average Mall with little lustre.
It's nothing like it's former glory. Less food court choices, as well as less seating. My primary reason to visit was always to stop and get my shoes and luggage repaired at the cobbler downstairs. I also liked the cleaners. Unfortunately, I learned from the cobbler I now visit in New Westminster, that the mall dramatically increase their leases, so they left. Many times, like this, large ownership companies don't realize just how important the little business is as well. That's why I frequent at least 95% less than used to. No strong reason to visit.
I like it because you have many options to buy and eat..its very near from the lougheed station
No boom and unfortunately seeing such fruitless investments just makes me sad
London drugs took my req. Post Dr. Visit, meds ready in half an hour. Went to Walmart to check a new makeup. Asked worker re product, had no idea. When checking out an employee told me no dogs allowed. I have her in my walker bucket. Delivery is soo important, not a pleasant soul. Another employee said the security told her as long as dog is in a case yes allowed. Whom do I listen to?
Lots of great stores and restaurants nearby like IHOP , Red Robin and a very good Lebanese restaurant Pita restaurant that's open after 4 p.m.
I go here for the pharmacy and red Robin's. There is also an Asian Orient produce market here for fresh produce from familiar surroundings.
Very disappointed that most of the good shops are gone. I used to shop there often
Nothing to this mall. Getting 2 new food places in the food fair, Kiosk Songapore, and a Thai place. Hope they're good.
