Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
"About Lou Malnati's PizzeriaConsidered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati's is as rich in history as its pizza is in flavor.Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940's working in Chicago's first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood, a northern suburb of Chicago, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati's Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago's best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday."

EXCELLENT Chicago style pizza!! This was our 1st time visiting Chicago and we had to have their famous pizza. The pizza was hot, ingredients were fresh, and it had just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The dough was cooked perfectly. We ordered online and it was ready at the exact time we said we would pick it up. We chose this place based off google reviews and so glad we did! We ordered a large pepperoni deep dish and a medium classic. Was more than enough to feed our family of 6. We had half of the large leftover. Will definitely be back!! I highly recommend!! Five stars!!
Pizza was over cooked and the thin crust must have been sitting for a long time as I ordered it uncut the bottom was still flimsy. I usually go to another Lou’s and have never had such a bad pizza! The cheese bread was cold and had the indentations from the marinara container. 0 stars if I could.
Nothing exotic here. It's a pizza joint in need of a face-lift. Very busy and popular. Ordered online. Med thin crust The Lou, minus cheddar, Italian sausage added on. Picked it up. Got home. It had cheddar on it. Not the best. Not the worst.Food: 3/5
Ok. This review is waaaay late. We live in Wheaton and have ordered a TON of pizzas from here for almost 20 years. I've always been impressed with the delivery from this Carol Steam location. Prompt! Fast! Polite! Our tips reflect that, I hope! And, during the pandemic, the delivery folks were MORE than awesome! Thank you!
I know they're known best for deep-dish, but you would think they'd be able to deliver a thin-crust pizza that was fully-cooked. The last several times I've ordered, I've had to specify well-done so that the middle wasn't falling apart. But tonight, ordering well-done wasn't enough. Even the outer part of the crust was soft. Crust matters! Enough to make me go elsewhere for thin-crust, if they don't care enough about it.
I had a coupon for a frozen pizza. There's not much to say. I picked a pizza out of the freezer, brought it to the counter, gave them my coupon, they bagged the pizza, I said, "Thank you," and left. Lol. The woman at the counter was friendly. The place was clean.Food: 4/5
Normally, no complaints. But, today, I feel like we got shorted some sausage on our deep dish out of the box. Usually, it's crust to crust. Is this the new normal now? 3 stars overall. 5 stars on service , 1 star on product.
Absolutely terrible. Never had a worst pizza in my life. Waited 2hrs for delivery. Actually went to pick it up myself at the restaurant they told me the driver was at my house. Uneasy went back home pizza was burnt sauce was dried up crust was so hard didn’t want to eat it. Paid $55 dollars with a $10 tip and was completely dissatisfied.
Usually good but you need to be lucky to get good pizza every time. Ordered extra toppings but received normal build. It happens most of the time. I like LM but his place disappoints me more and more.
This is an efficient, small shop. You want pizza, you call or use app, you get a great pizza and top notch service. Good, simple, done. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable options. Great salads and salad dressings. Parking: Pull up, park, leave.
