Sat in around 5:30 on a Monday evening and was seated right away. Service was prompt and friendly with a good selection of beer on tap. Interior is a fun atmosphere with a good amount of tables. Food came quickly and did not disappoint. The smoked wings are excellent and fried chicken is delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Overall, a positive experience with great service and delicious food, will definitely come back.

I’ve been to quite a few BBQ spots in my time. I was excited to check out this location especially given there’s not much in terms of BBQ in North Bay. I did really enjoy my meal and the prices were really reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was immaculately maintained. My only issue was that the brisket was a little dry and tough, honestly it may have just been an off day as I know brisket can be tough to get right consistently. I’d still recommend trying this spot if you’re ever in the area.

Omg. If you are in North Bay, ON you must stop in at Lou Dawgs on Main St. I promise you won't be disappointed. We has the meal for 2 for $45. There was more food then what we could eat there. We had dinner the next day. Not only are the portions well worth the money, the flavour will have you coming back. This has to be one of the best southern barbecues restaurants I have been to. Not only is the food to die for, the wait staff are fast polite and knowledgeable. A truly enjoyable dinner.

Met friends tonight for dinner on the patio on Oak St. We were the only ones out there = Service was good. Food was very good. We had the dinner for 2 $50 You choose one appy 3 large mac balls - we gave one to our friends to share 4 meats 2x brisket, pulled pork and fried chicken 4 sides, tater tots, pork and bean excellent!! Potato salad, beans and corn And you get a dessert brownie was our only choice, and we had it to go Our meal was delicious, GREAT value.. we brought some home for lunch. The brisket is excellent as are the beans. The fried chicken was great but it was a boneless chick breast with a delicous coating, no bones! One of our friends had a 3 meats and 2 sides, his was excellent as well. Our second friend had fish and chips... Not impressed. Frozen piece of fish, kinda like a cpt Highliner. I liked that they had lids for the containers for take home. We will be back, she will have to order something different

Stopped in for dinner while in North Bay today after my client said to try it. Is it the best BBQ I have had? No, but the portions were large, the price was super fair for what you're getting. Came to just under 25 with tax for this meal. I didn't even finish it. The owners were talking to me at the bar and were pretty chill. The pulled pork I enjoyed, the fried chicken was lacking in flavour but they use a different breading to allow people with gluten issues to enjoy.

Incredible meal...had the haddock sandwich with cajun fries...photographed my friends meals as well...cobb salad and wings and fries...they also said the food was incredible and prices very very responsible... atmosphere is great as well ..music and perfect subtle lightning makes for a very enjoyable experience

Been here several times now, and had a consistently great experience. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. Food is delicious, and you can pick between some classic BBQ and some creative options on the menu sandwich menu is killer. Oh, and despite not being a beer nut, I enjoyed the draft selection! Atmosphere is also a big plus here. Very casual, and there has been live music on weekend evenings. Last time I went there were patios off the front and back entrances which was also a great way to enjoy the weather. Can't wait until I'm back in town!

If you're looking for an awesome rib dinner you don't want to miss this place! The meaty half-rack of ribs was almost as large as many places offer for their full rack. The macaroni and cheese ball is really a unique menu item... you want to try it!

So first off thank you to the staff tonight we had a fantastic time! The food is very good !! I've just moved to the area and would most definitely be coming back with our gang .worth the visit

We stopped here for lunch during a recent visit to North Bay. Staff were great, place is very clean, and the food was outstanding! Had a real nice look in the inside and about 4-5 tables in the small patio out front. We tried the Southern Chicken sandwich to go and it was one of the best I've ever had. Had a nice Manitoulin draught while we waited. This restaurant is now a must stop when we visit the area.
