I’ve had a great experience with this apartment complex and would highly recommend it. The property is clean and well-maintained. The apartments themselves are spacious and well designed. Management and staff are responsive, professional, and genuinely care about residents, Lily has been great help.
Oh, I don’t even know where to start. We made the mistake of signing a lease here. We were so desperate for a new place and so busy with life that we just settled. The building and amenities seemed great at firstbut you can tell everything is cheaply made.nnFor the amount of money we’re paying, you’d at least expect the place to be decently clean but nooooope, it was dirty and grimy from the start. The building manager? Honestly, I have no words. We moved in expecting a clean apartment but it wasn’t. The HVAC was broken, our freezer was broken and making noises and when we asked the manager, he said there was nothing he could do. But the moment we called the emergency line, suddenly a new fridge appeared.nnAnd then on our second night, the elevator broke down. At this point, I’m just counting down the days until our lease ends. Biggest mistake ever.
****** DO NOT LIVE HERE ******nnWorst experience of my life. My upstairs neighbour kept me up until all hours of the night. There is ZERO sound proofing.nnI had to move my mattress into the living room just so I could get some sleep.nnI sent management proof of what I was dealing with and they still didn’t do anything.nnI chose not to leave a review on this building when I moved out a year ago. But after stumbling across an ad for them and saw an influx of FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS. I had to.nnThe new 5 star reviews are left by people who have only done one review on their google account or state “I had a great time viewing the apartment.” Not living in the apartment.nnDo not be fooled. It’s a cheap quality build with higher end finishes.
We had an extremely frustrating experience with this property management company.nnWhen moving out, we were charged $400 for wall painting and $80/hour for cleaning, despite the fact that we had arranged a cleaner to come on the same day. We left the unit around 3:30 p.m., contacted a cleaning service immediately, and called the office at 4:32 p.m. to request access for cleaning. No one picked up, and our follow-up email was ignored until the next day, when they told us the paperwork had already been submitted.nnWe were not given a fair chance to address their concerns, even though our lease was still valid until August 1. It feels like they intentionally avoided giving us a chance to resolve the issues and simply went ahead with charging unreasonable fees.nnIn addition, we’ve had issues with inconsistent and incorrect rent deductions earlier in the lease period, which took a long time to resolve. Communication was often slow and unhelpful.nnOverall, we found the management to be unresponsive and unprofessional, and would not recommend this company to other tenants.
I have lived here for a few years now, in there has been a concerted effort in making improvements to the property and the community. The new management company really endeavours to make the people living here happy and to make sure Lot 6 is a clean, safe and happy place to live. Never had any major issues, and any minor issues I have had have been responded to swiftly and effectively. Highly recommend Lot 6 as a place to live.
