I think based on the replies to any form of a critique about the Lost Trail Hot Springs, one can infer how petty and rude these business owners are. This place is disgusting and dirty, there is mould in the hot tub, the hot springs pool is falling apart, the cabins are run down and smelly, the limited amount of food in the " restaurant" is over priced and underwhelming, the camping area is dirty and crowded, and the management is rude and they refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes or issues. The owners ( who also work the reception and are cooks in he restaurant) are eager to take credit when things go right, but refuse to accept responsibility when things go wrong ( as a result of their own negligence- such as lack of cleaning, maintenance or supervision), and cannot engage in constructive self-criticism. These owners cannot see how their behavior looks to others, and if confronted by another about their behavior they, refuse to accept it or address any areas they could have improved upon. ... To sum it up, the use of a dirty run down hot spring, is not worth the time and money spent trying to ave an enjoyable time staying here. Yes the location is remote, yes it is rustic and quiet. But there is a difference between dirty and unsanitary to the point of a health code violation and " rustically charming". No one is expecting 5 star service in Sula Montana, but a basic level of cleanliness in the restaurant, general up keep on the premises and a clean cabin is not asking too much. But unfortunately Lost Trail Hot Springs refuses to provide a basic level of customer service, cleanliness and upkeep. Campers discretion is strongly advised!

The cabin we stayed in was very cozy and had a homey feel to it. The food and service was wonderful! The pool was very relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend this place if you are just looking to get away from it all.

This is a family friendly, fun pool. We were there a couple of months ago for our grand daughter 4th birthday. We had a large group, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We are local and have never had a problem.

This place was gross. Everything is close together with no trees or space separating your site from everyone else's. You can walk 5 steps from your tent and touch your neighboors tent. The place has only one outhouse and only one bathroom in the pool house which was just as gross as the outhouse. The hot tub and pool are falling apart and moldy. There are trailers on the campgrounds with old cars and garbage outside and towels covering the windows, it looks like a scene out of Trailer Park Boys. The owner/manager is too old to be taking care of the place properly, it needs LOTS of work.

Lost Trail Hot Springs has nice hot tub and pool, both fed by the hot spring. It's open year round. It's relaxing and beautiful.
