Excellent Mexican fine dining. A wonderful environment and lovely friendly service. We asked for a single soup to share as one of our apps and hey split it into two bowls and frankly it was more like two full bowls. The guacamole was freshly made and so we're the tortillas. The vegetarian meal was delicious and the steak was tender. The open kitchen is nice to see. Their is a small lounge when you enter for casual meals and a small friendly bar with friendly bartender. The price is quit reasonable considering the food and the location too. One of the few nice Mexican options around. Don't expect Tex Mex.. this is true Mexican with a gourmet flare. A small ish menu which often means it's well thought through and it should be made well no matter what you try. We we're a little surprised that they had no chicken on the menu at all. I'd suggest they add that in. The steak was tender but had chewy connective tissue that had not been properly removed. That's my only suggestion for them to improve. The seasoning on the steak was good. It was a little on the rarer side from what I had ordered but tender and juicy. The servers asked in detail about food allergies and if we wanted vegan options. Very professional and well done. We will be happy to go back.

I had real high expectations with this restaurant and have heard a lot from all my friends about Mexican food here but a lot disappointed. We ordered Guacamole just a handful of chips sadly, had to reorder chips and Rajas Poblanas as appetizers which were good. But main course meat balls n sopa seca was below average. Also ordered 2 non alcoholic beverages - Modified from their Cocktail section which were average, have had better ones. Highly priced for low quantity and poor taste. I hope they add some better items in the menu.

Los Colibris is a great dining experience. The staff was very attentive. We requested to know the gluten free dishes on the menu and our server was helpful. We started our course with a Shrimp Ceviche perfectly marinated on a citric beet sauce. I ordered the house special Prime Rib. It was fantastic. My wife had the Duck Confit Tacos on a Mole sauce. Overall a great dining experience. The food is delicious.

Service : 8/10 excellent service Food: 2/10 no taste Place: Fancy but not worth it Just go to another fancy restaurant I went here with high expectations just to realize it was not good at all. the service is really good, but the food I can say the worst Mexican food in Toronto so far, and for that price at least I was wait for something with flavor, for this amount of money is better La Carnita at least they have much better food, for similar prices, I'm from Mexico, specific Puebla, so I order Chiles en Nogada y Albondigas, neither of those had taste at all, I mean I wasn't expecting the chiles from mi abuelita but at least food with flavor, and the price is not worth it at all, I was just expecting tasty food, I'm not gonna even compare with the authentic Mexican food. My girlfriends words: "they copied the how it looks like, but not the taste" is too expensive for the food you get.

The food was absolutely delicious. They take classic Mexican dishes and turn them up with modern accents. Like the steak with a cheese chicharron. The drinks were all so great with a huge selection of tequila. Do not miss out on dessert because they take classic Mexican desserts like churros and completely take them up a notch. The churro had dulce de leche ice cream with chocolate powder and syrup. It was stunning. Service was a little bit slow which is the only knock. The waiter was a little unattentive even as the business slowed.

I came here as a group of 7 for winterlicious. We were very impressed with the food and quality of service here. We all ended up ordering off the normal menu instead of the winterlicious one and no one was disapointed. Service was quick and the waitress was very informative. I would definitely come here again!

They have 2 Mexican chefs, my recommendation is Enmolada de pato duck the mole was amazing! Also I asked for a michelada wasn’t on the menu they tried to do one... no the best, but they tried to please me. Desert, please order churros con helado ice cream. Friendly and courteous staff.

Went here for dinner with a friend and we both loved the food. The waiter was very help feuding my friends many questions about the menu and the food. The atmosphere was lovely.

Superb Mexican cuisine. Fine Mexican dining. Unparalleled flavours. Top notch food, and fabulous service!

I went here for my birthday, serendipitously. We thought we were going to the taco bar which is downstairs but ended up staying because there was no wait here. The meal was delicious, all the entrees have great depth of flavour and I was glad I got to try refined Mexican cuisine. This place is definitely worth a visit! Pictured is a torta de elote
