Familiar old chill and grill stop for family treats and good grilled eats. This place is famous for their soft serve and hand packed ice cream cones. Yummy hamburger, chicken nuggets, etc are delicious too. Just remember to bring cash, that's all they take. ATM machine onsite.

Disgusting establishment. Visited for the first time this evening with our 2.5 year old. Hadn’t realized it was cash only but had enough change for an overpriced frozen yogurt. The lady serving never welcomed us or even asked any questions. She just waited for us to order with a frown. I just wanted a small cone of frozen yogurt for my toddler but she still made a full size and charged as such. The machine wasn’t cold enough and the yogurt was melting on all sides heavily. The presentation looked like a flop of a ball instead of it being swirled upwards as soft serve should be. The worst was that while we waited indoors, some staff member in the back room, lit up a cigarette. The whole place instantly filled with smoke. Nothing like standing in cigarette smoke indoors with a child, and while pregnant. Will never visit this hole again. Disgusting ownership. Unfriendly service.

The soft serve ice cream was just heavenly.Creamy, delicious and the potion size was very very good compared to the price.If they open an outlet on wasaga beach these soft serves would be a sure hit.

The ice creams are very tasty. The servers at the counter are very friendly. The only downside is that they accept only cash and for same they also have an ATM installed on premises. The outlet is clean and hygienic with ample parking and tables to sit outside. I had chocolate chip cookie dough and a vanilla with chocolate dip soft serve.

The ice cream was good but, they seemed to not have a trash can outside that wasn’t really convenient. the old lady in there wasn’t pleasant, but the service was fast.

Not impressed today, first time I've been here and over 12 years. Now I recall why I have not been back. I bought a twist cone ask for large and give me a regular because the large was too heavy to dip. The cone was stale and cracked and made a super mess in my vehicle and all across my good shirt. Luckily I had extra serviets in my car to mop what I could. The price point definitely doesn't match the value of the product. Again not impressed

It is with heavy heart that this local gem rates but a 4 as it is the best vanilla soft serve cone I have ever had. The staff however is very short and needs a lesson in modern day customer service. How close a 5 star could be, inspite of the people who serve it.

Im not one to ever post negative reviews, but the owner is so rude and money-hungry that I refuse to take my business here again. First of all, the ice cream is so over-priced and if you want ANYTHING extra - I'm talking a spoon, fork, napkin, etc - you will be charged for it. The ice cream is really good, as Kawartha ice cream always is, but the cones are stale. Ive been here 3 times now and each time it has been the same. The older woman at the cash is rude to everyone except people she knows, even her daughter or niece looks ashamed when she says something bitter. Horrible customer service. I even witnessed her telling a family to go somewhere else because they didn't want to pay extra for an empty bowl because the ice cream was melting. I won't support businesses like this. Go elsewhere to people who value you and not just the money you pay for a run-down ice cream shop with bad ownership.

Lorna Dune being open means the 2019 summer season has begun. This is a place that is always absolutely spotless. The soft and hard ice cream are a good value. This year the menu now includes combos. Tasty fries, waffle fries, sausages, hot dogs, chicken and burgers are quickly prepared. Our family loves the ice cream cakes and even request one for Christmas . This year try one of the three new cookies or butter tarts with the great coffee. The lemon cookies are amazing. We will have to try the other two but the lemon ones are so good! The owners and staff are extremely hardworking and take pride in their business. Yes, it is cash only but an ATM is available.

Wish I could give -5 ! We went before school began in summer. The lady is sooo rude there. My daughter is exempt and she yelled at her! Shes only a child. I will never go back there again my daughter left crying with no ice cream, she has had enough trauma for this crazy lady to do that. Exemption sare legal and you need to educate yourself with the law,
