Great dog park! I’m a Rover Sitter so I take dogs here all the time and they love it. The park is clean and filled with toys and has water for all the pups. I walk from my apartment to the park since it’s about a 10 minute walk there.
Small city dog park with natural features and turf! Its pay parking and left of the parking lot. Leash laws still apply in the actual park. Wish it was bigger!
Very clean , also has some agility training items such as the tunnel. It is a fenced in area. Come prepared with having your dog be registered through your county to use their public dog parks .
There's fresh water, wading pools and water troughs available for the dogs. As well as, chairs for us humans, plenty of shade and a gentle breeze most days which helps keep the area cooler on warmer days. The park is well cared for by volunteers and Dog Grounds. All amenities are also provided by Dog Grounds. Donations are welcomed. The non-profit corporation Dog Grounds, Inc. maintains the dog park; the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board operates the facility.
Be sure to bring your phone fully charged I don't see much for charging phones here.
AWESOME!! Great puppies! Fantastic people! Always fun!
Always a great place. A park that's been taken care of for decades.
Nice but small dog park in Loring Park. Friendly people and lots of rocks, chairs, and structures for the dogs to play on.
Some really great dogs but I have never been to a dog park w as many problems as this park. Dogs get attacked. People get bit. I go daily about 75% of the time there is an incident. Not a good place for a shy dog-or even a dog that won’t fight back if need be. It’s Very small. Way too small for the area and number of dogs it’s serves. Kiddy pools for the dogs.
Great downtown dog park with lots of ammendities for the dogs to run and play on even when the snow flies. There were convenient chairs and trash cans avaialble to clean up. Nearby parking is tight but you can find street parking and walk a block or two.
