I have purchased art from Pilar since 2004. While visiting PEI we purchased our first painting and have purchased four works of art in total now. Pilar is very knowledgeable and professional and we have enjoyed our relationship with her for ten years now. Everyone one of our pieces are from artists we have heard of before and enjoy looking at them everyday. Thanks Pilar!! Linda

I've dealt with the Pilar Shephard Gallery for several years and and marvel at their collection of art, from fine jewellery through paintings to Inuit sculpture. I have always found Pilar very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend a visit to this fine gallery when in Charlottetown.

They will tell you that their artists are very hot and will increase in value and they want you to enjoy your purchase. In reality they aren't honest about what they are selling you and they have absolutely no intention of making you happy. In fact the owner was abusive to my wife on the phone when she tried to deal with him. My recommendation is to buy at other galleries and don't waste your time here.
