Last of the old style proper Hamilton steak houses gone from 30-40 years ago. You can't beat their prime rib...FANTASTIC. They always have specials. Open all day so you can get a quiet table after lunch or before dinner. They will prepare your Caesar salad, Chateaubriand steak and specialty coffees with panache right at your table side. A real treat to dine here. Personal service

Great food and five star service. We had the Chateaubriand for two flambe via tableside. It was perfectly cooked and tasted fabulous. The service was impeccable as we never once had to pour our own glass of wine. A little pricey but well worth it. Definitely going back.

First time at the lord Byron, Paul our waiter was amazing. Very funny. Food was great and exactly as advertised. Would recommend and would eat here again. Paul called us by name and cooked our steaks right infront of us. Amazing.

The reason we picked this restaurant was a coupon in the Spectator, my mother wanted to take family out for nice dinner for our family Christmas gift. before everyone arrived I was reading the coupon from the paper with prices. The owner overhears us and corrects the pricing, I reread specials off coupon with pricing and he says this is first time in 4 years there has been a price increase blamed it on Donald trump and the US (What) and coupon says price subject to change. Not a good start if it was not going to upset my 86 year old mother we would have phoned the Keg right from the table and left. We should have left, prime rib that I have cooked at home is better, strip loin and lobster tail are small and Veal Oscar nothing special at all. The vegetables were steamed carrots and broccoli. There was no presentation on the plate. The meal was average at best, we go out for a nice meal expecting a visually pleasing plate and a main course that would wow us this was only one step above a cafeteria or food court meal. The only reason it was not 1 star was nobody got sick.

This place deserves no stars. Food quality was mediocre at best. Soup of the day tasted like it was canned and heated up. Service people seemed like we were a bother for them and it also seemed like they couldn't wait to get rid of us. Prices at this establishment are premium but that is all that is premium. Decor is old and tired. They'd better change fast or they will closing their doors for good. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.
