Good food, friendly service in a very nice pub setting. Nice draft selection as well as a fill bar. Food was great, cheddar Ale soup is the best!
Had such a lovley experience with wonderful staff! The portion sizes are great, I still had plenty left over to take home. Definitely recommend the pulled pork, it was one of the best ive had recently plus I'm not usually a huge fan of coleslaw, but I really enjoyed it here. Would definitely come back again!
One of my favourite places in Amherstburg to enjoy a great meal and a few drinks. This time around wasn't my favourite but was still yummy. A few things to change... on the fish tacos, I found them a little dry. Maybe mix the coleslaw with the sauce to make it taste more wet??? My bf said the clubhouse also needed a little more mayo. But when I tried it, thought it was good. Everything else was delish. I definitely recommended this place when your in town. Always friendly staff that make you feel welcome :
You must get their Pulled Pork Nachos, nobody does them like they do! Quant little place, great for a date night! Then take a stroll along the river!

A quaint old pub in Amherstburg. Great Walkerville brew and delicious food served nice and hot on a cold day. Just what we all need. Good hot comfort food. Very pleasant server, very welcoming and very efficient. A great stop in!!!
Shrimp bake is amazing. Cheddar ale soup is spectacular. Wonton nachos are another fave. Food here is always excellent, wait staff is great : I love love love the seasonal cocktail menu!

Always great food. Ordered the nachos today. By no means are they healthy but OMG were they amazing. Nachos made of deep fried wantons? - YES PLEASE!
