We’re always on the lookout for a good Chip Truck and we asked for ours to be extra crispy and she delivered! The gravy could have been hotter - it was barely warm but otherwise the chips were really good!
I’ve normally enjoyed the food at the Loose Caboose but recently had their poutine and was very disappointed. The gravy has gone downhill drastically. It has a strange flavour and was like jelly on top of our fries and cheese. There was no way it was hot enough to even attempt at melting the cheese curds. We couldn’t even eat it - had to throw it away unfortunately. Change your gravy and the poutine will be great!
Ordered the cheeseburger combo with onion rings and drink. $15 with tax & tip. Great burger! Fresh bun! Onion rings were on point! The amount of rings would feed three people. Very happy with my order! I will return when I am in Elmira.
We had fish and chips on Friday. One piece haddock did the two of us. Batter was light and crisp. Fish was perfect. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Coleslaw was finely chopped, slightly sweet, and cold. I have never had a better fish and chips dinner. Also, the takeaway box was solid and waxed so we were able to eat without making a mess.
The burgers, fries and onion rings are all amazing !!! Anytime you want a juicy burger, they're the place to go !!!!
