Loophole Coffee Bar

Such a cool and interesting coffee shop. The coffee is fantastic and the baked goods are a 5/5. We typically get takeaway coffee from the walk up order window. We have also got their baked good via Too Good To Go. Also, the location can’t be beat.

Ever traveled for 10 hours straight, only to wake up the next morning after subpar hotel sleep and your body confused by the time zone change? That’s the state I was in when I found Loophole. When I saw it on the map, my first thought was I hallucinated it. Could it be? Exactly what I had been summoning? Strong COFFEE??? A short walk later the apparition turned out to be real. A coffee shop that made real espresso drinks. Macchiato, cappuccino, flat whites… and from a real machine, not the push of a button. My macchiato took a few minutes which I knew was a leading indicator of momentary tannin and caffeine paradise. The cup was small and light when I got it. A real macchiato - two espresso shots with a kiss of steamed milk that come together in an aromatic acidic sweetness. Mmm, coffee time. Sadly I don’t live here but if I did I’d frequent this place for the coffee and the book collection. The bookstore portion was closed at the time, but it looked like the kind of aisles to find a surprising full-absorption read. Until next time, Calgary.

An amazing coffee shop, with the best pumpkin spice loafs. Their menu also offers a great selection of unique crafted coffee beverages. Parking is not an issue at all, and the pick up window offers a convenient way to place an order.

Find the loophole in you morning with a great hot beverages and fabulous pastries. I had the kimchi Danish well over a week ago and still think about it. Great place awesome people. Looking forward to trying something new next time.

Hip, warm, and perfect for us creatives. I love coming here. The walls are decorated with various charactures and vintage pictures. It connect to the used bookstore beside it so the smell of old books just make it all the more interactive. The people here are fabulous. They are friendly, welcoming and make one mean matcha latte. Hot, creamy, and tastes like heaven in a cup. I love the cups they come in too. The barista told me that a local artist made them. This place is an artist's paradise. I get alot of writing done and inspiration from there. It's not just a coffeehouse but an experience. One that I will go to again and again.

Cute coffee place with a unique ambience. Enjoyed my mocha latte and this place is just a few steps away from Downtown west Kirby LRT which makes it super convenient as well.

Accessible by power wheelchair, with a 5 cm bump to get into the place. Lots of room inside. Funky atmosphere space which is shared with a used bookstore. I had a coffee and a cheese bun, which had a slightly peppery taste to it which I found irresistible. CJSW is playing on the radio and there is art on the walls.Food: 4/5

The coffee was great, but the service was terrible. One of the worst experiences I've had with a barista. She was preoccupied from the moment my partner and I walked into the store, and completely ignored us. She seemed annoyed that we were there, and never said anything to us. I felt uncomfortable asking about the menu because she was so unfriendly. After making our drinks, one of the lids was not properly on it and when I grabbed the drink, it spilled all over my hand/arm not really a big deal; however, she was unapologetic. Not sure if I will be back despite how good their coffee was.

This is great! Grabbed a latte and a doughnut today. Both were terrific! The best part of the experience was being totally surprised by the remark made when we went to the window to order. I asked how he was doing today and he said he was happy! This was the best and most sincere response I’ve received at a place of Business for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love this coffee shop. The location is fantastic and the window service is one of my favorite things. The staff are wonderful people, and the coffee is amazing. Layer on delicious pastries and donuts on Saturdays and you've got the best possible mix.
