We bought a nice used pontoon boat off this local business and are very happy with our purchase. This is a family run boat dealership that sells many different types of watercraft - even custom made floating saunas! They were pleasant throughout the process and accommodating with delivery of both boat and boatlift, even going as far as demonstrating how everything works on board with a boat ride. A few deficiencies were noticed upon delivery, which were quickly rectified the next day! Many thanks to Daniel, who took the time to ensure we were comfortable out there on the water. I bought this boat from Jacob during the Christmas season from a post on their site. I live 8 hours away and a first time boat owner so Jacob has to endure my constant questions until the day I picked it up. I couldn't be happier with the service Jacob provided and the boat that I purchased. Everything was as described and I hope to make many family memories. If I lived closer, I would definitely be getting my service done there too!
Bought a brand new pontoon over the phone from Ottawa. I can't stress how professional, helpful and very fair they were throughout the whole process. I almost wish i would of met them in person. Great people to deal with. Even from afar...
I'm not one to leave reviews but thought I would share my experience. I purchase a new Legend 14 Wide Body boat,motor and trailer last April. Because of covid I did this over the phone. I was dealing with Nathan. At the time he was new at sales. He took the time to answer my many questions. He was very helpful and involved in my purchase. When I picked up my new boat a few weeks later I found all the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I used the boat all last year with no problems. When getting the boat out of storage I noticed a problem with the boat trailer. I sent them a message and they got back to me the next morning. I sent them pictures of the issue and they took care of everything for me. I purchase there because they are locally owned. They stand behind there products and there service is great. Would highly recommend supporting this business!
From my perspective the staff were kind and helpful. I purchased a used boat so that has it's own challenges but the trailer didn't make it 15 minutes down the road before plowing a bearing and leaving me stranded. Follow up conversation after the store said the shop looked at it and "it was all good" hard to believe so 2 stars down. Not here to trash them but that shouldn't have happened.
We’ve dealt with Loonie Toons Pontoons twice now for the purchase of 2 boats and people should know what a class act they are. They are professional, offer excellent service and their products are VERY competitively priced. Also, they delivered ON TIME - right to our dock in Muskoka!!! Highly recommended.
OMG ! Where do I start. My daughter from Toronto made the booking for my mom and dad’s 65th wedding anniversary with Janina. What a wonderful person. So kind too. I met her when we got to their place, she took us to the dock where the pontoon was so we could load the boat with our snacks, water and the wedding anniversary cake . Her husband Daniel our wonderful captain arrived shortly after. Both my 65th balloons had blew away and here is Daniel with the balloons in his hand . Lol . Once we were all boarded Janina took pictures of us all to send to my wonderful daughter who couldn’t be with us. I thought WOW how sweet . Thanks a million Janina for you kindness. Then we were off for our boat ride. Daniel stopped at a spot called “hole in the wall” where mom and dad talked about their life together. Showed us beautiful spots, scenery. Made a second stop so we could enjoy our snacks and use the restrooms. Continued on our wonderful trip . Third and final stop to have the cake , again another beautiful spot. Daniel knows the waters like the back of his hand. He always make sure we were okay the whole trip . Such an amazing kind ‍ couldn’t ask for better. My mom and dad can’t stop talking about the wonderful trip to everyone they see or talk to. If you ever want to experience a beautiful pontoon trip I HIGHLY recommend to book with Janina and ask for Daniel as your captain. I want to say a million thank you Janina and Daniel you you are the best!!! I have done many excursions throughout my life and you are on the top of my list. Danielle
The only place you should visit if your shopping for a poonton boat. Jacob is amazing to work with!
We bought a refurbished pontoon from Dan a few years ago at a really good price. The boat has been great for family activities. We also service and winter our boat at Loonie Toons. Their location at the mouth of the Desbarats River is really convenient - he pulls the boat out at the end of the season for us and gets it ready for winter storage. A great experience all round - we couldn't be happier with the service we have received.
Amazing staff bought the boat remotely from Ottawa 8 hour drive it was just as they described upon arriving to pick it up. Was never a problem for them to send multiple pictures of every angle of the boat. There was a issue with the gauges and they had to be sent off to the states to get fixed but was ultimately not able to be fixed. The Staff at Loonie Toons ordered me a new one to be dropped off at my house. Would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new or used boat no matter the distance. Very hassle free purchase and easy transaction.
