We went with londsdale because of the reviews and figured that the slightly higher price point would guarantee us better service and better results. They floored our entire 2200 sq ft townhouse renovation. The hardwood installer did a great job and we’re happy with both the product and installation. The carpet and vinyl installation, however, is terrible. The carpet was over cut and under cut in many spots, leaving a messy DIY-looking appearance. The product itself isn’t very good, but that’s not the fault of londsdale flooring. The installation, however, is a joke. It’s embarrassing and any tradesmen who come into our place can’t believe it was professionally installed for the price we paid. Photos attached. The vinyl plank that was installed over cement is equally as shoddy. It’s popping up all over the place, the pieces wiggle, and I feel I could have done a better job myself. In fact, when guests have seen it they assume I DID do it myself. I reached out to the company about these concerns and have not received a response. Once the guy came to look at the carpet but all he did was trim a few threads and ignored my feedback about the pieces being over or under cut and poorly installed. Hence this review. I’m sorry that this is our experience because I really did enjoy working with Ray and expected the whole job to be of a much higher standard.
Bought BIYORI HydroGen 6 creamy beige from the store recently to replace the flooring for the entire house. I found the store has a wide range of products with good quality. What made them really special are the exceptional customer services and good knowledge of the products. Very impressed!
My husband and I have been extremely happy with the quality of service, as well as the finished product, for replacing the existing floors in our new home. Ray, John, and their team were fantastic. All plans were clearly explained in an honest and respectful way. Nothing was over-promised and any possible "hiccups" were communicated with me in advance so we knew what to expect. The team that worked on our extensive flooring project was professional, polite, and completed the job on time so that we were able to move into our new home with all the amazing updates in place. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lonsdale Flooring to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and superb customer service.
The people at Lonsdale Flooring are professionals. The in store staff were able to answer questions and advise on replacing the flooring in the apartment. No pressure on making decisions and they would allow me to keep samples for a few days to see how they look at different times of the day. When it came time to take the measurements and the order they supplied a quote that was accurate. They accepted my timeline. The installers were experts that were friendly and knowledgeable and honest. Flooring was installed 4 months ago and is meeting my expectations. I would go back when I need to upgrade but I don't expect that to be anytime soon.
We just had hardwood flooring installed in our condo by Lonsdale Flooring. The product is great, the installation was impeccable and the service exceeded my expectations. I just cannot believe some of these other google reviews. Lonsdale flooring will definitely be getting repeat business from me. Update: 2 years later, another hardwood job by Lonsdale flooring, with professional service and a 5 star result! I am so happy with my new floor!
Almost finished getting our carpets installed by Lonsdale flooring! Everyone who we had contact with throughout the job made you feel like you were important to them, from the manager John, to the sales guy Mike and to the lovely and professional installers! All of my questions were answered with patience and respect. They are extremely knowledgeable and honest! I really felt like I could trust them. We had some disgustingly dirty and old carpet in my house that had been destroyed by previous tenants. I had Ray come and take a look to replace it. He made some excellent recommendations like putting commercial grade carpet on the stairs that lead to the street. It looks fantastic and its going to last. The price was excellent considering the value we got. The installer was fast, clean and professional. I would recommend these guys any day of the week.
