The best longos in the area! Come here from Hamilton frequently and always have a great experience! Store is very clean and employees are welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend the longo’s brand pasta sauce. Simply the best from any grocery store and have been buying for the past 15 years, won’t use any other brand!
The store is always clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which makes shopping pleasant. However, I’ve noticed that many non-perishable items are nearly double the price compared to other grocery stores in Burlington.nnUnfortunately, my recent checkout experience wasn’t the best—the cashier made no effort to engage or communicate, which left the interaction feeling cold and unwelcoming.nnI appreciate the store’s cleanliness and layout, but there’s definitely room for improvement in pricing and customer service.nnn– Jo
I live in the area and stopped in for ground beef. At the same time I thought I would get some produce. I had to laugh when I saw the ice berg lettuce at $3.49 a head. I am not lying or exaggerating, these thing were the size of a softball. 4 to 5 inches in diameter.nIn passing I mentioned to a produce person who was putting out some vegetable about the size of the lettuce thinking I’d get something out of him like yeah I no, it’s the time of the year. Some kind of response. This guy pretended I was not even there. Like a ghost. I thought how rude. He wouldn’t even look at me. It was quite weird. I just thought that management should know about some of there employees. Turned me right off. As far as the ground beef I came for they barely had any on display and was way over priced. I left with some produce and a bad feeling. And went to another store.
This grocery store has truly become my go-to spot, I find myself there almost every other day! They always have fresh produce, a great fish section, and wonderful deli options that make meal planning so much easier.nnOne of my favorite things is their bread, especially the sourdough, it’s consistently excellent. They also have pistachio croissants that are out of this world and something you really can’t find anywhere else. And before I forget, I have to mention their cheese scones, they’re incredibly delicious, though sadly not always available when I visit which probably makes them feel even more special!.nnAll in all, it’s a fantastic local store with quality products and unique treats that keep me coming back again and again.
The management and cashiers are unfriendly and do not care! There’s obviously a disconnect and no one cares. The stores and the office customer care department need a reality check and retraining. No business sense after years of loyal clients spending in access of $15K a year, will never shop there again.
