It is my first choice for shopping in Aurora. But recently, I have noticed some changes in customer service. Unfortunately, they are not as friendly as before. Very aggressive manager around which means obvious tension between staff and him that affects how they serve the customers. I hope to see more friendly faces again to make it a great local grocery store in Aurora.
This is the supermarket I like to visit. The layout and settings are very tidy and clean. The quality of meat and veggie is good. Yesterday was Valentine Day , the I could see many customers bought flowers and cakes. I also bought 2 cute cup cakes for my sweet hearts granddaughters.
*Edited- Since COVID 19, the tone of the store has moved from welcoming to suspicious. I no longer enjoy this store as I once did. I have reported but there are never improvements.nnSo disappointed in Longo's lately. I have been a customer at this longos since they opened. Recently there have been times when my produce is not fresh, and the other day I brought home a melon which was completely rotten. The workers in the deli seem unhappy when you are standing there, as they have to stop what they are doing and assist. The number machine at the deli has been broken, yet there is no organized system and customers in the line don't know who is next. Longo's has forgotten its strong points.
The staff at this supermarket have an extremely poor attitude, especially a short-haired, bespectacled elderly woman. She’s always stationed at the self-checkout area, and whenever customers make minor mistakes during self-checkout, she comes over to scold them harshly. She starts her shift with resentment every day and should be fired.
We had an amazing experience at Longo’s Aurora, all thanks to Mr. Ali, the kitchen manager. He went above and beyond to help us with our order for shrimp feast, chicken tenders, and BBQ wings for a birthday party. He patiently answered all our questions, provided helpful recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect. His kindness, professionalism, and knowledge truly made our experience outstanding. We’re so grateful for his assistance, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Mr. Ali!
