Long Road Distillery
"Long Road Distillers was born from the belief that making world-class spirits means never taking shortcuts along the way. After becoming the first craft distillery in Grand Rapids, MI, we formed relationships with local farmers to bring that mission to Grand Rapids’ West Side neighborhood. Each spirit produced at Long Road Distillers is milled from locally sourced ingredients, fermented, and distilled on-site. The result is an uncompromised lineup of spirits including Vodka, Gin, Whisky and more. Our spirits, along with a handcrafted collection of cocktails and farm-to-table food can be enjoyed at our Tasting Rooms in Grand Rapids and Grand Haven."

This place is a hidden gem. Probably the best burger in the area and the fries alone are worth a trip. The salad was a bit off, but the service is good and the drinks are excellent. Thesmoked whitefish dip was pretty good and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The steak was a bit overdone, but still tender. If you're in the area I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
Nice place to go on a Sunday, the kids can play in the closed street, right by the tables outdoor. Service was good. The fries with truffle aïoli were the only thing we ordered with our cocktail and were very tasty. Nice place for dog owners as well.
Pretty sure my boyfriend was in heaven over the fact he could order a whiskey flight! The bourbon was so good he had to get a bottle to take home. My “Here Comes the Sun” was VERY good! And the loaded fries were amazing! I wish I caught our server’s name but she was also very nice and helped us along the way, as we were visiting from out-of-state.
Excellent farm to table menu I had the Whitefish and chips. Spirits using all Michigan ingredientswere amazing.I had the botanical flight and a taste of Absinthe. Just wow.
I honestly would NOT recommend this restaurant if you have a family/are on any sort of budget. The staff did not even ask if a booster seat was needed at a 4 person table when there was 4 adults and 1 one year old. The child burger is $9 when the adult is $14. The menu is very limited. The fish and chips had barely ANY fish in them compared to the breading. The burger tasted fine, but it was very small for $14. The server was not very attentive. The older couple complained behind me about the chicken sandwich and the same server did nothing about it. I wouldn’t get a drink if I came here again. The falcon mule was alright but it was the cheapest drink. The XXX fields drink tastes like an actual field. Just wouldn’t recommend. Drive further outside of town.
This review is not for cleanliness, service or anything else but food. The worst food we have ever had at restaurants we've eaten in USA and around the world. The lamb chops were the smallest I've ever had, the toughest rubbery meat I've ever received at a restaurant and the entire dish was all together not tasty at all and about a half cup in volume. The steak on the surf and turf risotto was even worst on texture and taste than the lamb chops. The risotto was tasteless and we couldn't eat it. The kids all went with chicken nuggets and fries. Even the kids complained about the chicken nuggets and fries and did not liked them. Seriously, there should be legislation about how bad the food can be, for being sold at a restaurant. Two adults and three children no alcoholic beverages on the order, paid for the food the price of about 10 large pizzas, spent over an hour in line to be seated and to be served and left the restaurant to find something to eat. BTW, none of us are picky eaters. Shame on you for serving such a low quality food for such a cost.
This was the perfect find for a late day snack and drink. A dog friendly patio was just what we needed and the service definitely elevated this stop to the top of our list for this trip! The fish and chips were perfect and the variety of drink options made this place move to the repeat list.
Bring back the original smash burger! My wife and I used to go here every Wednesday for date night as Wayfarer members not even exaggerating. The smashbuger was not just the best thing on the menu, it was the best burger in Grand Haven. Was very let down by the basic burger and the Jersey burger replacements. We’ve even considered driving to Grand Rapids because the menu there is so much better, and the smash burger is still on the menu there! Okay, now that my rant is over; we love everything else about this restaurant. Rarely let down by the drinks, and the staff are all excellent.
Stopped in for a bite after a brutally long day. Staff was fantastic. Friendly and accommodating without being fake nice. Drinks were delicious. Food was solid. Don’t be afraid of the Holiday in the Sun non-bourbon drinkers. This is a refreshing well-balanced cocktail. The batter on the fish was a too delicate for my liking, but the fish was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Music and atmosphere were on point.
Long Road is the real deal. Their spirits are top level. I can hardly stray from their aquavit, which is world class. Cocktails have thought and balance. The staff, the same. They have loads of outdoor seating drying Covid-19 protocol with an easy to use touch less ordering system.
