Friendly, tasty and unique. Staff here were energetic and gave useful information regarding dishes, customer opinions on some favourites and made us feel comfortable. Very attentive to the environment and the needs of the table. Food was nicely presented, cooked and seasoned well also. Alligator bites were a fun item to try and I would recommend them. Fajitas were tasty and a nice item to share one order among two people. Menu is moderately sized, with the tex-mex sort of theme. Come here for those types of food and you won't be dissapointed. Will come back again.

Went to a fairly new location North Oshawa they don't have a big menu like the Whitby location however, they have the staples! Nonetheless delicious and fresh! Never disappointed at Lone Star!

Came at 5pm on a Sunday. Very clean and quiet establishment great for a family dinner. Food was awesome and was brought in a timely manner. The Highlight of the night was definitely the server Bender, he delivered a fantastic experience full of laughs and top tier customer service. The best server I’ve ever had and would highly recommend asking for him next time you’re there! Fantastic work guys and girls! 5/5

First time here... Not bad. The complimentary warm chips was delicious! Got the nacho platter with chicken and crispy chicken wings. Tried the butter BBQ sauce, a definite no and hard pass for me. The mixed Berry drink was tasty. Loved the goblet they give to drink out of, found that unique. I would love to go back and try other items on the menu just nothing with butter BBQ lol

I am not one to normally complain but today was just a horrible experience. First off my dinner came and it was cold and my steak was cooked more done then medium rare. I didn’t think it was a big deal and just asked that it be warmed up. It wasn’t very tasty and I didn’t eat it as the steak was too done. But after my boyfriend had already made and eaten a fajita, he noticed the cheese was moldy in the build it dish. I complained and was only given 50 percent off. I didn’t care as much about my meal but my boyfriend having moldy cheese and still having to pay any bit of his meal is ridiculous. This restaurant was my favourite restaurant in London and I went there with my boyfriend frequently. I was so excited to go to the one in Oshawa since I just moved here and am so disappointed. Never going back to lone star again.

Customer service was awsm. Atmosphere was great. Tables were neat and clean. Enjoyed my Sunday. Also, I appreciate the complimentary food item.

I ordered take out checked fajitas with a side of guacamole the other day. I was completely unimpressed with the portions. First of all I received 4 tortillas along with enough chicken and veg to barely fill 4 of them. I mean I’m not opposed to a meal for one but for 30$…. Come on. I could have just gotten my own chicken breast, veg and onion and it would have been cheaper. If you want a good portion of fajitas and a great price go to the One eyed Jack instead. Nothing special about lone star other than their inflated prices and small portions. Will not be going back. The only reason I ordered from there was that I was overcharged at another location and they reimbursed me a gift card for their mistake.

My mom and I visited today for lunch and we had an amazing time. The food was super tasy and they were able accommodate her pepper allergy. The manager and servers were very nice and attentive. Great experienceFood: 5/5

The meal was tasty, but excellent service from Sunshine and Snakebite made this family meal great. And as an added bonus the washrooms were immaculate and well-equipped. A very positive experience!Food: 4/5
