Today, I visited the London Place Post Office. If you're looking for a place that is as classy as the name might make it sound, I should let you down gently by telling you that this post office is actually dressed up as a 7-Eleven. Because of this, it has very good people watching. In fact, if you watch hard enough, you can watch a person try to steal food from there, as I have on multiple occasions (clarifying note: watched, not stolen). In all instances, I've intervened to advise the would-be thief to put the pilfered items back, and not once have I been stabbed in the abdomen or neck. The post office has good hours, and as far as I can tell, the latest post office hours in the area. The service and line-ups can be somewhat hit or miss, but I will admit that every letter or parcel I've ever sent from here has reached its destination, so I shouldn't really complain. Today, I didn't wait too long as there were only a few people ahead of me. The manager today was friendly and helpful. 4 out of 5 stars.
