Definitely have been noticing some preferential treatment. I have gone twice now and have noticed on both occasions some who come looking for food know the intake workers personally. Greeted very warmly like old friends and ask each other personal questions.nnI have noticed a very big difference in what those who know the workers personally receive. For example; today a family received a big box of cheese buns, chocolate buns, hot dogs and good meat cuts which were frozen. This was part of their 4-5 boxes brought out for them.nnit was two adults and one child, my family, the same size got leaking chicken liver, canned chicken and canned garden mix. the only baked good was bagels and some peanut butter.nnthere could definitely be variables I’m missing here but it all felt too obvious. Some within the cultural cliques at this particular food bank receive more consideration and benefit more than the average visitor
I went to London Food bank for the first time last week. Wow! I'm so impressed with this place. Kind and courteous staff. No judgements whatsoever. Very very well organized. Amazing food and options. I wish I could give 10 stars because they would deserve every single one!! Thank you London Food Bank for being an oasis in the desert. We appreciate you all.

I barely got anything from there when I went, I was very disappointed, I have been to other food banks and I've gotten more than enough; this one not very good at all! I got maybe 2 cans a box of eggs some bagels 3 carrots 1 pepper 1 mister noodle's, and couple of granola bars. Very disappointed
I want to explain why I don't give to this food bank anymore. Awhile ago back I would say a couple of years ago I went to the foodbank and gave to the food bank but while I was there I saw a Muslim couple in a BMW which is a luxurious car come to the food bank and didn't give. She just thought she was entitled to get groceries for her family and herself. I have seen this with several East Indian people too. They pull in in a Mercedes and they think they are entitled to get in on the spoils. Something needs to be done with this. Groceries from the food bank should be for people on welfare and for seniors who can't afford groceries. So I am writing my ward councilor about this because they need to know what's going on because I am still seeing this today when driving by.
