Jenn and Chantel are very immature like another comment here states. These ladies work in the photo lab area and turned around, walked away from customers today, only to hide or to stand and chat amongst themselves. I had to find another worker who then had to find 2 others to come help as it wasn't his department and when he said he'd ask Jenn or the Manager Chantel they were no where to be found.I explained that these two have a outside issue with me from 3+ years ago when I chose to go out of town a couple months before Jenns wedding and she didnt like the fact i went out of town during covid and apparently they allow that to effect their work. Why hire staff that won't work?? Yes I filed a complaint with head office as well. They need to either do their jobs or leave. Funny how they have a few complaints for the same things, ignoring customers!!
I was recently travelling for work and had the unfortunate issue of breaking my phone. I walked in prepared for the worst after a terrible day. The store was clean and welcoming. I was greeted at the front door by a cashier. Jenn from the tech department was pleasant and helpful in getting me back up and running. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was working and transfered before I walked out the door. In a world where bad customer service is everywhere her commitment to the entire experience was refreshing to see.
I am writing this review with sheer disappointment. I was a regular customer and loved this store until TODAY. I came in store looking for a chocolate box to gift very last minute as I forgot to bring one for my pharmacy. The prices marked were outrageous as compared to Shopper drug mart. I was discussing the same with another customer who was also looking for a gift last minute. It was just a casual conversation between 2 customers until an employee overheard us and interfered saying “Depends what are you looking for”. Me and the other lady mentioned well we are just checking chocolates and they are crazy expensive. She rolled her eyes and said “price match then” and the other customer replied well we don’t carry flyers around. I asked that employee her name twice and she finally replied “Minter or Minker” something like that as she was trying to brush us off and was extremely rude. I picked one box as I did not have time to go to Shoppers or I could run late and went to the cashier and requested that I would like to speak to the manager and she informed me that Ralph is on break which was reasonable. She also informed me that Minter is the Assistant Manager. I again asked cashier who should I speak to or complain then ? And by then Minter came and claimed to be the Store Manager and tried to justify what she did before. I told her that first of all she should not claim to be a manager when she is not as its a complain and someone else can get in trouble because of that and secondly I refuse to talk to her considering her behaviour and face expressions before. She walked away and while walking away she loudly told cashier “You don’t have to listen to her”. Cashier however remained calm and supportive. I was shocked to see someone with these kind of ethics and customer service to be a Assistant Manager. A customer has all the rights to speak and share their thoughts and on top when we are not talking to any staff they should either stay quiet or answer a question if asked. She was upset that we mentioned prices to be much higher than Shoppers Drug Mart which is not a lie esp. after Christmas prices go down anyway. Her conduct, choice of words and being loud to announce not to pay attention to me while I am paying says a lot about how much London drugs care about their customers. I was a regular customer and thank you so much for the disrespect as a New Year’s gift to me. I am never ever coming back again until Minter or people like her are working there. An apology only means something when a person actually understands what wrong did they do, not when they walk away telling other staff to not listen to the customer when customer in first place never reached out to staff to ask for anything. Experience does not make anyone good at their job, them being a good and genuine person makes them a valuable employee which I could not see in Minter who simply ruined my day.
I am beyond frustrated with my experience at this insurance center. My husband and I went in simply to request a marriage certificate, and the man who assisted us was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He barely acknowledged us, didn’t smile, and spoke in a tone that felt like he was irritated with us—when we were the ones paying for the service! His complete lack of courtesy and respect was unacceptable. Customer service should be basic, but this was beyond disappointing. I’m giving a 0/10 and will never be coming back to that person again.
I visit this location so often, But today I was too disappointed with the service. I was looking for assistance for a coffee mug which was not on display, it was packaged in a box. I just wanted to have a look on the product before I buy it. As soon as approached the customer service desk the girl who was standing at the desk she saw me that I was coming towards the desk she replied ‘’ cashier is that way’’ I was not even trying to pay for anything. I was looking for someone who can open and show me product. But instead she could say that how may I help or she could call an associate to assist me, she directed me to go to cash where someone who already has customer to serve and was unable to help me. Although she was doing nothing but standing free but chit chatting with a colleague whose behaviour was pretty similar to ignore customer. According to my experience this time it seems that chatting was more important for them rather than handling the customers.I think they really need to learn how to do customer service.
