A large London Drugs store in the South Edmonton common. Great place to get passport Photo for Passport and Immigration applications. They have quick service and turn around is very quick. The only downside is one of thr 4 passports was rejected by the passport office. They promised to retake the photos if rejected so we will be going to have it retake and will update this review if they keep their promise.
the boy at the photo counter was incredibly sweet and has good music taste. i would really love to see the people working in the photo lab receive more support. it was hectic and they could’ve used a hand, and the rest of the store was quiet. very happy with my interaction
Worst customer service by so called one of the Managers at electronics department. I bought a toy car for my todder son and it worked for just two hours and stopped. So went to return it. The employee was polite and dealing nicely. Then the manager appeared and said its used so cannot be returned. How do I know if its working or not without using. Their return policy also never said if it is used it cannot be returned.Further, he added that there are thousands of car manufactured and sold. Only this car has problem? When i started answering him he rudely said "I am not talking to you". Then he started attending another customer. The employee who was dealing with me asked the manager some question regarding my return. Then his answer was rude to the employee also. The employee and myself were waiting for the manager to finish his dealing with other customer so we can speak to him. But he didn't even turn to our side he walked away. Finally i could talk to the manager's boss and got return the toy. This incidence is quite opposite to normal. Usually employee will be rude and Manager will try to solve the problem. Its surprising how did this person became manager when he dont have even basic courtesy.
Have been going to this store since the Windermere location closed. It is a great place for shopping, pharmacy and taking/printing photos. Some grocery items are pricier but the experience good cleaniess, shelves are well maintained, etc is worth it. Most staff across the departments are friendly. The photo department is the best among all the places I've been to Walmart, staples, shoppers. The quality efficiency, photo paper, packaging of the online photo printing is great, at a price just slightly higher than that at Staples. And the service is fantastic for taking passport photos. For little kids, they provide safety seat. Highly recommend.
I had absolutely the worst experience with photo lab. We clicked pictures around 3 we were told it will be ready in 20 mins so we checked at 3:30 it wasn't ready then we checked again at 4 still not ready. I decided to get some work done meanwhile when I'm back they said they don't have pictures with them and made me wait again for 30 mins
Taking too much time for taking photo. It’s so sad waiting for a photo for more than 1 hr. Don’t waste time here
I am extremely disappointed in my experience at this London drugs and the photo lab. on October 6th I dropped off two disposable cameras from my birthday, I was told there would be a 3-5 week wait to get them back and I requested them to be digital copies. When 5 weeks rolled around, I still hadn't heard anything so my boyfriend phoned on my behalf, they told him that they had sent me an email with them already, so he hung up and I looked and still nothing. so, we phoned back and the women on the phone confirmed my email with us and she had ".com" put down when my email is actually ".ca". I understand misunderstandings happen but when I turned my cameras in my friend was with me and she wrote my email down for me because my writing is bad and we both know it was written as ".ca". Afterwards we get the women on the phone to change the email on file and I'm told that I have to come in to store. Yesterday, I went in and the person working the desk appered untrained and unhelpful. He pulled up my file on the computer but could not do anything else, he said he would look in a drawer for the physical copies but couldn't find anything. he told me he couldn't help me and to phone London drugs the next day and request to be transferred to the photo lab. The next day I phoned London drugs attempting to get transferred to the photo lab and explain my situation when i was interrupted to be transferred to a different department where I needed to explain the situation again. then i was transferred again.. Finally, a women picks up and I found her passive aggressive and standoffish, she made me feel like it was my fault. she said that the email on file was ".com" and that she was the one we had talked to a few days previously and WE had confirmed that with her. which again my boyfriend, my friend, and me all have said ".ca". she sounded annoyed and id expect that even if there had been a misunderstanding about the email it would have been handled differently. she also told me that when I had come in that the person at the desk should have been able to give me the physical copies and that she had easily found them. Again, making it sound like it was my fault ?? But not the untrained workers fault ? Finally with reluctance she told me she would go upstairs to the photo lab and have them send me the photos. So finally I get the photos.. well only one camera.. so I wait another 3 hours and phone back to ask where they are, and they say they will send them again, but this time I ask for them to read my email over the phone and they say ".com" so, I correct them again and FINALLY I now have all of my photos. I have had much better service dropping off my photos to the London drugs in Sherwood park and will not be visiting this one in the future.
A small error was made in my purchase of an open box tv. They went over and above to help fix it when they didn't have to. The customer service was done by actual employees; so refreshing.
A huge store with everything for the house. They carry cosmetics, body care, candy, food and electronics. There is also a pharmacy too. There is something for everyone in the family. Make surr you sign up for their loyalty program. It is super easy to earn rewards.
My son took a picture there several days ago. Good price and good service, and most importantly is digital picture only charged 3 dollar. I will recommend any friends whom want to take a picture.
