Ive been coming to this restaurant for while, we always satisfied for services and food. But today it was very dissatisfied and disappointed. We ordered food then pasta taste like nothing just creamy, we asked for more sauce because of it. We expected more flavor on them? But came with more sauce but still taste like nothing. Wish the server explained to kitchen or something but not looks like it and took forever to pay for the table and stuff. Maybe not coming back to this place. Attached all the food that i did try, loved it.
Loved the food, the spicy pork and rice was spectacular and so was the Korean fried chicken. Service was good too ! Just wish they would do something about the air conditioning, barely works and makes eating uncomfortable. Would have rated 5* If not for the poor air conditioning. Definitely recommend this place on your visit to Sylvan lake!
Nice little restaurant in Sylvan Lake. We tried their breakfast it’s fusion with Korean cuisine. Their bulgogi truffle benny is a must try! Bulgogi grilled very well and nice sauce too. With muffin and hash brown it’s a good paring. Reasonably priced and server is friendly as well. Very enjoy eating here.Recommended dishesBulgogi Skillet
Some things on the menu may be good, but the gorgonzola pizza is literally tex Mex cheese on premade freezer dough. At 19$. Very cute set up, good service, tastes fine, just not what I want to pay 20$ for!
Really great food, especially the chicken. Unique Korean fusion. Korean fried chicken and waffles was amazing and they made a really good Benedict as well. My In-laws loved it so much on our trip to Sylvan Lake, we ate there twice!
We went here when we were in Sylvan lake for the night. I went here because it seemed like they had a decent number of vegetarian options. It had a decent atmosphere, really kind staff and the Gorgonzola pizza with honey dipping sauce was truly something something else. The first bite had me so pleasantly surprised. I look forward to dining her again.
We had breakfast. The food was great. Only thing is diced potatoes were very salty. I’ll give you a tip. Don’t salt the potatoes, you have salt on the tables. That way you don’t over salt and people that don’t salt have unsalted potatoes. That’s the only thing, the rest was excellent. Very quick service for a place that was very busy. Great work.. Great restaurant. Thanks for the service.
We were in Sylvan Lake yesterday and looking for a restaurant. I mentioned Lokal to a resident and he raved about the place. I now see why. The food at every table looked excellent. I had the HUGE chicken burger with great salad and my friend had the bulgogi quesadilla which he loved. We both agreed this will be our go to place whenever we are in Sylvan.
We love coming through Sylvan Lake for food and stopping at Lokal. We have had a reccomondation to go to Cilantro and Chive in Lacombe which we have done but we would by far prefer to come here to Lokal. Food is Wonderful, the service is always amazing. Way to go Lokal you are a 5 star to us
This was a great little place to go to; luckily we got there early and beat the dinner rush. We did the Korean BBQ plate and it was spot on, not that spicy but lots of flavour. The coleslaw was not great but it was a small part of the dish. We had kids and they gave them hats to colour on. Great place for a family or just someone who just wants a coffee.
