Whilst the cabin we stayed in is very basic, I guess it has not changed in years, which gives it a very original vibe. Beds are comfy, the shower was a little weak, which I guess is to be expected. There is a perfectky functional kitchenette, that we used for some meals. The view from the lounge of the lake was mesmerising and the whole area is other worldly. We loved the park and the surrounding walks. The highlight was borrowing a canoe from the owners and taking a trip on the lake up the lazy river. We did not see another person! A great getaway, and Erica's just down the road is great for coffee.
Love it here! Property is so spacious but there are not a lot of cottages, meaning it is peaceful with few neighbours! Stunning view of lake that is a few metres away. Cottage itself is well-maintained, shower with functioning hot/cold setting, with all basic appliances that u need. Heater/AC doesn’t seem to be functioning though - but maybe am just not setting it right. We dont need it now anyway. Love that there is plastic cover for the bed when we got here and so am not worried about lying down on a filthy one! Overall nice experience with high possibility of coming back with a few more friends!
Great cottages with a beautiful view of the lake and a short walk to Dwight Beach. Our favorite place to spend a week in the summer. I wish there was AC because the lake breeze does not travel through the cottage when it is humid, but we bring extra fans for sleeping. They have kayaks and canoes to borrow, so you can explore Kake of Bays on the water. Great place to vacation!!
The most amazing family holidays I had. The cottage are amazingly clean. The owners will go above and beyond to help you. You are at a strategic position between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Children love it.
An awesome place to relax. The cabin is spacious and clean. The couches needs to be replaced though. ..quite old. The view is perfect and beach side experience was great specially for kids.
