The employees were nice, and they managed to complete our purchase with ease two drinks. The selection of food is limited as it was a rest stop on a Greyhound bus heading towards Ottawa. I would recommend bringing your own food as the food in the store is not as fresh compared to the drinks. Overall, my experience was OK.
It's basically a convenience store in the middle of nowhere, and the Greyhound only stops here, so tired passengers are faced with price mark-ups for mediocre food items. There are washrooms inside, but the water from the faucets is very questionable. It's only half decent if you came by from a Greyhound bus trip, but not recommended for the general folks.
Fantastic little shop!! Great place to stop and stretch your legs. The store is well laid out making it easy to find pretty much everything you need.
Like many others, I only stop here when I'm on the bus route between Toronto and Ottawa. I've gone in at different times in the day and have seen their familiar faces there for years. They are very sweet and friendly. Nothing fancy but pretty stocked with pit stop snacks and I really appreciate their all hours hard work.
I also stop here only between Toronto and Ottawa. The owners are friendly and nice, the prices aren't too bad could be worse, and there is a good selection of snacks and food. The washrooms have always worked properly for me and are clean. People who complain expect way too much from a pit stop in the middle of nowhere; I'm just glad there's no purchase minimum for using the bathroom like some businesses have.
It's the greyhound stop over location for Ottawa to Toronto, I basically only get off there to use the washroom, but they sell food and other convenience items inside as well. Overall a clean place and I believe they have fair prices on food too!
Nice and clean place for taking a break while driving for long journeys towards Ottawa, etc,. You can get light snacks, cold drinks, breakfast and all. They have a backyard equipped with benches to sit and relax. They have fireplace, you can warm up yourselves in winters. Restrooms are well maintained and clean.
Log Cabin resto is a place where greyhound bus makes a 15 min stop for passengers to use the washroom, buy some snacks and drinks including coffee and tea. Other passengers go for a stretch or a quick smoke outside the resto. Very affordable foods and a place for a short break before continuing the travel going to Ottawa or going to Toronto. Awesome place!
They must pay the bus companies to stop there. Its a very run down 'convenience' store with highway robbery prices. Before you board your greyhound, be sure to grab food so this place doesn't steal your shirt!
This is a quick stop snack bar open primarily as an agent to Greyhound busses. It's the mid-way rest stop between Toronto and Ottawa. It offers pre-prepared sandwiches, cold and hot beverages non-alcoholic, gum, candy, chips, ice cream bars, and beef jerky. There are washroom facilities. The staff is very efficient at quickly processing sales so there is a very short wait time despite servicing 2-3 busses full of people at once.
