I’m not one to leave negative reviews or comments but on a very special day we were met with a strange and upsetting interaction with the owner or staff. We had called ahead to make sure that they would be open and to find out if they accepted minors into their establishment as we were coming from out of town to spread our grandparents ashes in their favourite fishing hole nearby. When we arrived, there were no vehicles in the parking lot so out of courtesy we went in to tell them we were leaving our car in the parking lot and jumping in with other family members to spread the ashes and that we would be back in about an hour for lunch with a group of people. They informed us that they wanted a copy of our Driver’s license in order to leave our vehicle in their empty lot. Of course that did not sit well with us as we are in our 50s and we do not want people having our ID on their phones. They explained to us that they have had stolen vehicles left in their parking lot, and the police has told them to take IDs of people, leaving their vehicles in the parking lot. We explained that we were the ones who had called ahead and that they knew that we would be coming there for lunch. Yes, we were a little upset about this, but whoever we talk to was aggressive and not very friendly or accommodating. I ended up having to leave a copy of my license with him and I am still uncertain if it’s deleted from his phone and uncomfortable with it. That being said, we did come back to have lunch and the food was very good. I have been coming to this pub for 35 years and love the atmosphere as it hasn’t changed much in that time and there is so much nostalgia with it. And another thing to note as it’s a small town and a small pub if you’re in with a group of people, you will have to wait for your food and get served separately, but that was not a problem with me because the food was good and the drinks were good And the service was nice. My only complaint was that A very special day to my family was started off with an awkward and upsetting event that was unnecessary. But still, please stop by this little gem in the Canyon as it’s a unique and interesting place to go! Just don’t leave your car there.
Had a great time hanging out with the bartender. Place was dead in the middle of the week but was picking up later in the evening. Good food and beer.
Food and drinks were good but no beef burgers. They do let you do burnouts in the bar & camp out, that’s worth 5 stars in my book.
An Indian fusion country bar in the middle of nowhere? What could possible go wrong here? To my surprise, I had a decent experience.nnThe good: great country vibe. Glad most of the building was kept original!nnThe bad: music was too loud and they were playing weird remixes of pop songs. Would be nice if they actually play country music, not as loud. Food was mediocre at best, and thats to be expected for a place out in the middle of nowhere. However, the portions were extremely small. As for customer service, it would be nice to see locals working there who actually know the area well.nnThis place has great potential, but it’s just not there yet. Hoping to see improvements in the future!
Following the positive reviews from Google, we called in here Saturday afternoon for a late lunch.nWow!!nAksh and the team were attentive, very friendly and helpful.nThe Salmon Burger and Chicken Burgers were both exceptional.nWe've still got quite a drive, so we ordered mocktails, and they were both brilliant.nnI recommend.
