LOFT THAI EATERY is a Thai restaurant serving Modern Thai cuisine in a simple, contemporary setting. We aim to provide our guests with our Chef's wonderful creations in an environment that uplifts their dining experience. Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance, presented in a visually and gastronomically beautiful way.

Over the years, Thai cuisine has grown to be one of the world's most famous delicacy, offering ample health benefits from the aromatic exotic herbs, while presented in the abundant palette of flavours. Thanks to the vibrant streets of Bangkok that shape the food culture, the visitors were greeted with endless possibilities of Thai cuisines, developing the tastes and spreading the words.
Thai cuisine has become a passion for many, including our executive chef, Shawn. Having worked in various kitchens of world class hotel chains and restaurants, Shawn has cultivated his passion and experience to eventually create his very own cuisines, rooted in Thai cultures and the spirit of a well travelled creator.

With extensive experience in various world class hotel’s kitchens, Chon has cultivated the passion to create his own restaurant. One that speaks volumes of his culinary love. Chon has been perfecting different variations of cuisine, from Italian, to French, to Thai, and everything in between.

Having apprenticed alongside the Three Michelin Stars Chef at Pullman, Accor Hotel Group, and cooperated with One Michelin Star Chef at St.Regis, the highest regarded brand in Starwood Hotel Group's Restaurant, Jojo, winning of 2013 Best Italian Restaurant in Asia Pacific, Chon is now embarking on his very own journey to create his very own Modern Thai Cuisine at LOFT Thai Eatery.

One of best ambience restaurant in Edmonton. Great for friends meeting. Good try with curry beef, pad Thai, mussel soup. Small restaurant but good enough for clean tasty and have a great night with friends and family.

Ordered Phad Thai and Red Curry for takeaway, so far the BEST Thai food that we ate in Edmonton and we tryed a quiet few "top rated" places. Tasted fresh tasty and clean. Need to support business like this with tasty food!!

We ordered the crying tiger which is a triple A Alberta striploin beef. Ordered medium rare. My steak came fully cooked through. The taste was terrible. It tasted like the steak that comes out of a microwavable tv dinner. Was not happy. The service was good, but didnt complain about food. Not sure if it was bc the cook was new or what, but the 2 steaks we ordered were both not great tasting or looking.

Hands down one of the top ten restaurants in Edmonton! In an obscure location but the food is worth the drive. I've been here twice now and tried different items and I've been impressed both times. The satay has already won an award but the lamb, curry, seafood, shrimp, rice, every dish is amazing! You have to try it to believe it and you won't be disappointed!

Small and out of the way little place with seriously good food. Some of the best Thai I have ever had. Small menu but it's hard to miss or choose wrong. It's all explosively tasty. The first time I went I had the salmon. The first bite was a feast of flavour and went on from there. It was beautiful. The green curry was also excellent. The food is a bit pricey but well worth it.  Just don't order tea. For a meagre small pot of jasmine tea, which is a few leafs and water, they charged me $8, the same price as a foreign beer. That was outrageous!!

It is my first time coming to Loft Thai and was really amazed by the cozy environment. The costumer serivce was really great and really welcome for my first time going there. The food and drink was great and very tasty. I personal love spicy and tasty food. I would highly recommend to my friends and come back again. Love it!

Just went to the lift eatery to pick up some take away, bill was $40 for two meals and they're half the size they should be, then they prompt you to tip minimum 15% on the debit machine, we wanted rice with a dish and paid extra, instead of giving us the dish and rice extra on the side we got half the dish and half rice in a small container, this food better taste good and come with a blowy for that cost. Won't be going back.   Update, definitely the worst pad Thai I've had.

I am quite picky when it comes to Thai food because ive spent a lot of time in Thailand. I ordered the red curry and found it lacking a lot of flavor. Could have been much spicier and just lacked some Traditional Thai flavors. The small corn in it was so hard It was not edible. The chicken satay was meh. The peanut sauce was nice but the naan it came with was literally just store bought, cut up in tiny pieces. It wasnt worth $13. I won't be eating here again. I thought it was going to much better than it was.

Service and food were awesome.  The red curry dish is spicy but if you like spicy food, order it with a little more kick.  Definitely coming back again.

Takeout order. Pad Thai with chicken Tom yum goong with pawn and garganelli green curry pesto with chicken. The garganelli is very tasty. Tom yum goong is good too, it's a bit spicy but not too spicy. Pad Thai is fried well, not spicy and a bit too sweet.  Small restaurant good atmosphere. The Duck curry is boom! Juicy and tender. The leeches sweetness mixes the curry very well
