Story

Across from the entrance to the historic Soo Locks, the Lock View isn't just for tourists. Local people regard our whitefish as the best, with our saying "the fish you eat today.. slept last night in Whitefish Bay". We prepare our whitefish and walleye dinner's six different ways: pan-fried, broiled, deep-fried, cajun, cajun- deepfried and lemon pepper. We are family friendly, have two floors of seating and can accommodate large groups! Stop in and see us!

Really good food. I got the roast beef sandwich and my fiance got the fried white fish. Both tasted really good and fresh. They had a couple of local beers on draft, and also the usual beers too. The ambience had a nautical feel to it, with the view of the street and the locks. Very quick service and kind wait staff.

I was a little worried coming here based on some of the poor reviews regarding service. But glad we came! Service was truly exceptional! We sat upstairs, on the window - with nice views of the locks. We enjoyed everything we ordered (whitefish items and beer). The dining room had fun decor and decent ambiance.

Food is always good and I love getting a table on the second floor - nice view!

Had the corned beef hash with eggs. It was great. Only weird thing was, we wanted to be seated upstairs. They said it would be a 20 minute wait. After we ate in the lower part, we were told we could look upstairs. We expected it to be packed... Nope... one table was sat. We didn't understand. Food was good though.

We visited the Lock View Restaurant this past week. We had a large party of 15, which included 8 kids. They accommodated us nicely upstairs. The service was great-server Jayson was very patient with the kids. Food was tasty! Sangria was yummy! We will definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting the Locks!
