The playground is surrounded by wood chips and a short plastic barrier. This playground is not accessible for children with mobility issues. There is a small parking lot next to the playground with a port a potty. There are a few slides and swings with multiple climbing options. There us a nice ship theme which fits well with its location at the locks. There is plenty of all day shade with beautiful trees and multiple picnic tables and benches.
Amazing experience and learning for kids, must visit
We had such a great time here. From watching the ships go through the canal to the interactive museum. My kids loved it all.
