Story

Local Insurance Brokers (LIB) is a full service brokerage with over 100 years of combined experience. With offices in Sudbury, Espanola and Callander we strive to meet the insurance needs of our community. Local Insurance Brokers is a proud member of the Prolink Broker Network, one of Canada’s largest independent insurance brokerages. Through Prolink, Local Insurance Brokers is affiliated with over 50 brokerages throughout Ontario.

Local Insurance Brokers is registered as a licensed Insurance Broker with the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO). RIBO regulates licensing, professional competence, ethical conduct, and insurance related obligations of all independent general insurance brokers of Ontario.

We at Local Insurance Brokers are widely recognized in the industry as relationship builders. From Union groups, to businesses to individual clients, we strive to be your “go-to” professionals for all you insurance needs. As well, we are committed to our community and are involved in several different charity functions and organizations. We are strong supporters of the Human League’s Breakfast Club for kids, feeding in excess of 16,000 children every morning. We are involved in the PLAY program Positive Leisure Activities for youth and Jump Start Program as well as Minor Hockey and Civil Air Search and Rescue Association just to name a few. We are a very community minded Brokerage, and always put our clients’ needs first and foremost. Our staff is always ready to greet you with a hand shake and make sure you leave with a smile.
