Story

Local 23 is a vintage shop and second-hand store located in Montreal's vibrant Mile End district.

We have been selling vintage and gently used clothing, shoes/boots and accessories for men and women since 1993. The store is full of great finds from much sought after 90's items to fantastic quality second-hand, all at reasonable prices.

We recently launched a new store "Empire Exchange" which takes over our buy/sell/trade operations. More details at www.empiremtl.com

Local 23 is my favourite place to find vintage clothing that is 1. What I’m looking for and 2. Fits plus sizes. Although their plus size section is for starters just one full rack, I often find pieces in the rest of the shop that work too. The building itself is run down but it adds to the charm of the place! Also they markdown their items once they’ve been out for a month or longer -30%, -50% so its super easy to get a really good deal on something.
A vast selection of vintage that ranges from classic styles of vintage to more modern pieces. Unisex and plus size clothing included is this small but well stocked store. Also there are a ton of other vintage shops in the area so you can make an afternoon of vintage shopping in the area.
This is a cute little shop with some very nice vintage and second hand finds. I scored a beautiful skirt here at an incredible price. Bonus, there are a number of vintage, consignment and locally made clothing shops on the same street. Hit them all!

This shop has many cool designed clothes and acc with good condition. People in the shop are friendly and kind. I highly recommend this shop:.
Cheaper then the other vintage stores in the area. There is a sale room in the back. I found so many cute things!
Good selection of stuff but to be honest the service was not super. Just go to annex vintage it's not very far from this store
Small selection vintage store. Wife didn't like the selection. Not worth the trek out here.
