Dear Lloyd, My name is Bob Johnson. I hired your Co. last week to help me rectify a rather desperate situation caused by that latest windstorm. A pine tree fell onto my hydro wires and ripped them from the house,barn and workshop. The first thought that came to mind was how to find a a business in Stratford that would not treat a potential new customer as if I was simply a bother. I decided to open the yellow pages of the phone book and call one after another until I come across one that seemed to be interest in my dilemma. Just as predicted,,,Co.No 1.,,,,,,there was NO answer! No.2,,,,,,,I had to push too many buttons just to talk to someone. No.3,,,,,,finally got a hold of someone,but she didn't seem to want to be bothered.,,,,,,No.4,,,,,,Lloyds Electric. This brings me to the gist of my E-mail. It's such a rare pleasure,especially in Stratford,,to deal with an organization that seems to know how to run a business. If I may,I wish to begin with your phone person,,Venesa. She has probably gained more customers for you than all the ads in the paper.She caught my attention with her personality which included professionalism,a pleasant voice, sense of humour and a genuine concern regarding my problem. Next on my list of the pro's who work for you, is the 3 employees you sent to my house to repair all the damage. I'm retired,,so I took the opportunity to crack a few beers and watch these guys to learn how they do things. In case you don,t know,,their names were Bob,Mack and Trever.They sure knew what they were doing! I didn't think they even stopped for a break! Anyway,,,,,,,,,,Lloyd,,,,,,,,,,,I think you will agree,,,,,,,, these people should receive some praise from the "Boss", AND,,I suggest,,,a raise in pay! As a result of all the aforementioned,,AND knowing you also have a sense of humour,,,,would you do ME a favour? I want you to haul these people into your office,,close the door,,have a serious look on your face,as if they're about to be chastised for doing something wrong,,,,,,,then read this letter aloud to them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,O.K.??
