Thanks for lunch today Ribs... Cold and dipped in thick cold bbq sauce.... Over a bed of ripple potatoes chips.... Why? Why not hot over bed of rice. .... Much more desirable. Chik'n seitan mac Very dry and burnt breading... I ordered it without sauce. Why not use some extra virgin olive oil to fry it with flavor? Just a few thoughts Reply If you have new employees you would think you the owner would be there with them to train them properly how to cook the food after reviewingThe reviews From the lowest review I was surprised to read what people said. Please work on not defending your food but think about how to make customers estatic over your food. Will these two picture help you decide if it should be fixed or not?
We were visiting from Portland for a weekend gateway in Bend. Found this via the HappyCow app. The menu is amazing. We got jackfruit mac and BLT. The max was delicious creamy and tangy but the BLT was extremely dry. It just had some vegan bacon lettuce and tomatoes. It is a little expensive for 12 bucks for a burrito of that kind.
The food is super delicious and the staff/owners were helpful and happy to answer my questions. There are so many times I have come across food truck owners that seem to have no interest in their customers. These guys are positive and friendly, which is super appreciated! Great food, great people. Plant-based diet or not, try 'em!
I’m obsessed. Vegan BBQ that tastes better than non-vegan BBQ. I’m always so happy to come to Midtown Yacht Club, listen to reggae, and eat at Lively Up Yourself. Staff is always friendly and the food is always absolutely incredible.
Great food! Picked up dinner one night and went back for brunch the next day! Everything we had was great ribs, crab cake, blt wrap, mac & cheese, including the special: buffalo chicken sandwich! This food cart pod has great ambiance in the winter with plenty of fire pits to keep you warm. Really loved the fact that you can buy alcoholic drinks in the Midtown Yacht Club. Definitely worth visiting when in Bend!
Great vegan food. Just what we wanted on a cold day. Some hot and creamy Mac n Cheese.
I cannot say enough good things about my experiences at Lively Up Yourself. This is my go to for vegan comfort food and it's so incredibly addicting! I have been coming here since they opened and I have to say not only is every single item on the menu absolute deliousness, the owners are like Angels on Earth! They are the sweetest and most kind humans which adds to the magicalness of their food. If you haven't added bacon and avocado to any of the Mac bowls I highly suggest trying it. The owners have been so dedicated to accommodating to anyone who comes by I continue to show off this place to friends, new and old and they love connecting with their customers. This makes it feel like home away from home. I saw a few reviews mentioning a previous employee that does not in anyway represent the awesome experience the owners provide. I also had a run in during his time there and while I can validate the other reviewers feelings I can also assure you it was a very temporary hire. My kids and I love this place so much. Seriously try the ribs, but don't forget my suggestions for the Mac bowls! But beware it's addicting!
I am not vegan and I still love this place. My brother is lactose intolerant and got their mac n' cheese. I tried it and wished I could switch him meals from another food truck! It was so good! I still go back just for that.
I like to support vegan folks in their various endeavors, but I was pretty disappointed with this one. I got the Buffalo ranch burrito, mac on the side, and a superfood smoothie. The smoothie was awesome at an agreeable price. The Mac was actually pretty good also and decently priced. But when I order a buffalo ranch burrito I'm looking for something heavy with substance. This was basically a salad inside of a tortilla. The last three or four bites had some seitan but the rest was basically just lettuce with maybe two or three pieces of tomato. Photos enclosed. Everybody else seems to give good reviews, so maybe this was just a fluke. I'll try em again soon ‍
Delicious! Well, I think their potato salad is perfection! Just dynamite. Smooth and tasty mac n cheeze. Memorable St Louis style ribz with ranch. Glad we ate here! Vegetarian options: Vegan food truck
