WOW! The high tea was amazing. My favourite savoury bite was the tomato pesto finger sandwich. My favourite sweet was the scone with the clotted cream and raspberry jam. Absolutely delicious. Very cute place with unique clothing and home decor. We were visiting from Ontario and doing a #chewonthis food tour. A great way to start our day!
Had the opportunity to sit and savour time in the cafe with a friend. Service was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks delicious. Highly recommend the high tea. More than enough for both of us.
Enjoyed high tea here. They only had one type of tea, so there wasn't a choice, but thankfully it was cream of Earl Grey which is my favourite. The atmosphere of the tea room is wonderful and provides the perfect ambience for high tea. The sandwiches were delectable, the scone and cream were delicious and the desserts were tasty. It was fun to try a good variety and to enjoy the atmosphere.
I just hosted a surprise party of 10 people for my mother-in-law's 70th bday and I couldn't be more satisfied! I booked the entire conservatory - the room was bright, tastefully decorated and private, perfect for a gathering! The food was fresh and delicious, their tea is to die for and the service was impeccable. Natasha, the owner, was super helpful and accommodating. "Sip and shop" is their motto: besides serving high tea, they also sell clothing and home decor.. I mean, do I need to say more? I think the price point reflects the experience, and to be honest, I wish there more gems like this in the Lower Mainland... it's a breath of fresh air in an ocean of cookie cutter coffee shops. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: May be hard to navigate with a stroller. Parking: Plenty of parking options. A few parking spots at the front of the house, pay parking next door, free street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a ramp at the entryway. Their porch has 3-4 steps. We had 2 people with a walker and it was a little tricky to get them in. Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodate dietary restrictions on demand
Such a cute place I went with a friend and we both enjoyed everything on the tower also LOVED their tea!
Just left this place I do not recommend coming here. For $75 I got a few different peices of bread and very little dessert choices, also didn't even get to pick what kind of tea I wanted, food was bland, and had no taste it was my daughter's Birthday and it was very disappointing she was upset and barely ate anything. For what they charge for very little food not happy at all. $75 for $10 of food wow
The high-tea food and service was pleasant, but the time frame of 1 hour and 10 minutes to enjoy a lovely high tea made for a very rushed experience. We received our tea soon after being seated and received our food after 15- 20 minutes of arriving, which is fine as we were chatting and enjoying ourselves. We were asked 30 minutes after receiving our tiered platter if we wanted a takeout box for our food as we had to leave in 15 /20 minutes for the next seating. The restaurant does a seating turnover ever 1 1/2 hours. We felt rushed and we’re waiting for the ‘tea police’ to ask us to leave, which the time came too soon. If you are looking for a leisurely high tea, this is not the place.
Provided dietary preferences requested that soft cheeses not be included for the party package I bought and 1/4 of the food had cream cheese... We had two pregnant women and this was for a baby shower. The server we had was not the friendly sort, she came into the room and interrupted everyone by talking over us all on more than one occasion. To be frank she was rude and unwelcoming. The conservatory was beautiful but unfortunately the experience we had was dismal. We were disappointed and I do not feel it was worth what we paid.
It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's a very cute house-looking shop in the heart of sweet Fort Langley! They have jewelry, shoes, furniture accessories, and clothing. They also have a high tea kind of thing that goes on, I haven't tried it yet, but I definitely need to try sometime soon!!. Loved the experience all around, I just need to try the high tea experience- will be back for sure!
My girlfriend surprised me with reservations for Afternoon tea, for my birthday. We were served by a young woman with red hair who was very sweet and attentive. She brought out 2 pots of earl grey tea with our choice of cream & sweetener. She then returned with our tower of goodies which she took the time to explain what each item was. She even offered the explanations in French to go with their Emily in Paris theme. Lunch was fresh and very tasty. Loved the bacon jam! We had the room to ourselves and were never felt rushed to finish. Afterwards, we browsed the items in the various rooms, in the boutique. Such a gorgeous little business. We will definitely return in the summer!
