Reviews, get directions and information for Little Star Diner
"We are a family-run independent local diner, featuring food from producers around the Gallatin Valley. We are proud to grow many of our greens, herbs and vegetables ourselves and source our eggs, meat, and dairy from small ranches in the area who raise their animals on pasture! Our menu changes based on seasonal availability. Come visit us for a meal in our dining room, at our bar, or on our rooftop in downtown Bozeman, one block off Main at Wallace and Babcock."

Reviews
Excellent food and ambience. We sat at the bar and loved seeing the chef and crew in action. We had the sourdough toast, seasonal salad apple and hazelnut, gnocchi and trout tacos. I appreciated the menu was both condensed and had variety. They nailed all of it. Nice and informed staff. Highly recommend.
Had a really wonderful experience. The rooftop was beautiful and relaxing and when a storm moved in, the staff easily accommodated us inside. We did a tapas style dinner and all our food came out at once. The gnocchi was our favorite, but everything was delicious. Service, food, atmosphere, with the prices, it was everything I wanted and expected.
What a wonderful concept and experience. Staff was detailed in their explanations and followup. Menu is detailed and varied in choice. Lake Trout Taco did not disappoint. Corn Tortilla was *made in-house* and NOT commercially made. Each component was slightly spicy but not overwhelming at all. Loved the salsa. Beautiful space accented by the seating. Display chair items are for sale.
Food here is excellent and the price is reasonable for how good it was. The vibe is relaxed and a bit upscale. We sat at the bar which was actually great! Cool to see all the dishes get made, they all looked incredible
Beautiful restaurant, I sat at the counter and enjoyed the interesting view into the kitchen. Food is thoughtfully made and presented gorgeously. The appetizer I chose was sourdough bread with hummus and was very tasty. My main dish was the pork and I really liked the meat, however not the accompanying sides. I would certainly come back and try other dishes!
Really top notch food! My husband said it was the best steak he has ever eaten. They had lots of thoughtful options for dietary lifestyles. When we go again I will request a seat not near the door. I really appreciate the lack of single use items, down to the hand towels in the restroom being actual towels.Food: 5/5
Food was good. Tamales were quite spicy, so be ready for that. But I had to have a second dinner somewhere else because the portions are so small. It's one of those cute farm to table places where the food is delicious, but they don't give you much of it. Just go in knowing that....Food: 3/5
Friendly staff, efficient service, pleasant atmosphere. Loved the local food aspect. Falafel was my favorite! Only wish that had more variety in wine by the glass. Reply to owner: Had lighter blends and dolcetta, but I particularly enjoy bold Cabernet Sauvignon especially from WA.
Delicious. Great location. Nice people. We had breakfast on the roof terrace and it was lovely. Black and white special best buckwheat pancakes we’ve ever had plus buttermilk plus an amazing corn muffin plus a bunch of sides with eggs don’t miss the homemade hot sauce!. Can’t wait to try dinner!
Chanced into this gem of a place because Ale Works was packed and loud. Photos done so justices to what this kitchen produce from such a simple setup. Menu 6/2019 is a nice collection of international fairs from Vietnamese, Polish, Germany to good old American burger. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something that is a lot quieter and more minimalist decor.
