Came for a very early dinner tonight. Food came out quickly. It was hot and delicious!!! Added the hosin sauce and siracha in the chicken noodle and it was everything I've been craving. My daughter had the lemon chicken on rice and although they do not have a child size she ate loads of it .... meaning she loved it as well 10/10 would recommend
Not terrible, but not greatvery bland, and barely passable. Peanut sauce is sub partastes literally like watered down peanut butter, rather than peanut sauce. Frozen store bought spring rolls, or at least taste like/textured like it. More than the food being lack luster, the biggest problem is the cost/portion size. One of the best parts about Vietnamese food isn't just how tasty it is, but it's usually very fair prices for large portion sizes. This place is literally twice the price, for clam shell containers half the usual size - compared to every single Vietnamese establishment I've been to anywhere in the Vancouver/Fraser Valley area, or on Vancouver Island. Very much not impressed. If the cost and serving size were comparable to every other establishment, then the food itself would be passable; at these prices and serving sizes, the food quality should be a 10/10, but it's not even close. Best I can really give is a 5/10 for the food, but that's honestly trying to be generous because nothing stands out directly as WRONG or gross, just lacking. I wouldn't really call it authentic, eitherunlike the many genuine places in BC. Customer service itself was fine. The person on the phone was friendly, and polite - pickup was also pleasant. Lost some stars because the lack of quality is still a customer service issue, especially if the spring rolls really are pre-made store bought frozen ones.
Twice now we've been disappointed. Very inconsistent in quality and portion sizes. Large 15$ rare beef pho as pictured.
Super fast service. I had beef satay. Could have used a lot more flavour.
Do NOT eat here!!! My family and I came here today. The food was ‘off’, I knew something was strange as my food was a bit sour tasting. I’ve eaten here before. Later this evening my son has been throwing up all night! He had not eaten anything prior to this incident, just half the sub. My husband said his stomach was not feeing great either. Long story short, my son got food poisoning from eating at this place. He had the chicken sub and my husband had the other half along with his pho. I should have known better, when we arrived- there were no other customers during the ‘lunch rush’. The service wasn’t great either. Very disappointed. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
WAY over priced ! probably one of the least authentic Vietnamese noodles houses i have had the liberty to eat at. I ordered the pho-satay and for $17 it left me asking where i was going to immediately eat after i left little saigon. the broth was watered down and lacked the rich depth of traditional vietnamese pho, the soup came with 4 tiny chiseled away meat balls and several anemic slices of rare beef , i was left wondering where is the brisket or well done beef ? to skimp out on the "EXPENSIVE" meat is one thing but to deliberately not deliver an adequate portion of noodles is heresy. I definitely would not recommend eating here if you are looking for a traditional bowl of pho.
The worsted soup I’ve had was small and very pricey for the size no flavour. The service was excellent
Soup was extremely bitter and when we asked to exchange the soup the owner said they can’t do anything if its just personal preference for taste. So we can’t get a different soup? We literally had two sips of it too not like we finished half the soup and asked to exchange. When we sent it back they still charged us for it because of “personal preference.” Their bowls are also very mediocre, just filled with noodles and lettuce and not much of anything else. Prices here are also insane as two items cost about $45 which is ridiculous. I understand costs have gone up since COVID hit and I don't even mind paying extra if its worth it, but the food here is just not worth what you pay. Ultimately it was the worst lunch ever and we should’ve picked the sushi place next door! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
We ordered take out from here and will never again eat here!!! Which is sad because we used to eat here quite often a few years ago and it was delicious! So we were very shocked at how bad it was! For $17 all we got was rice and 2 small pieces of dry, tasteless beef!!! Do not go here!! And the lemon grass soup had no lemon in it! It was a waste of money.
So frustrating to see it open online but closed when you get to restaurant. I just moved to mission and wanted to try this pho, I will go to pho song in maple ridge in the future.
