Great little cafe on the river front. Eat inside or outside. Dog friendly! Very nice atmosphere. Great food & service. The French toast with whip cream was really good. The whip cream was thick & delicious. Fresh fruit too. Recommend a visit! Parking: Parking is a little tricky but not horrible. There's a pay garage & some parking by the hotel at the end.
Was out taking a stroll with the family and came upon this cute little cafe. It was a very warm day another scorcher out. Was just talking about wanting some ice cream. This little cafe has a little bit of everything to freshen up your day on a hot one. Cute little in door and out door seating area, very kind, and friendly staff. They have food, wine, cold beverages, coffee, and ice cream which was just what we were looking for they also do root beer floats, smoothies, banana splits, it really is a perfect little cafe right off the water front in Portland. Definitely worth checking out and dining in.
The very best local coffee shop in Portland. the quality and the taste of the food is so good that within our two nights stay in Portland we dined in three times there. The soup of the day so delicious as well as their Turkey club sandwich. breakfast was very good in taste and quality. the coffee so fresh and good with free refills. if you haven’t tried it yet, then you don’t know what you are missing :
What a delightful cafe! Mimosa and a really nutritious breakfast accompany a river view and birds singing in the trees. One would think the noise of the traffic would be a detractor, but it’s actually really cool to be in a hybrid space where city meets nature. Food is great and quick. Highly recommend!
I have visited the Little River Cafe a few times. The location is great, right by the river. The first time we purchased a salmon bagel and an avocado toast. Both were tasty but I was a little disappointed in the presentation of the avocado toast. We also had an egg and bacon sandwich, which came on an untoasted bagel without any butter or spread, so it was very dry. I was asked if I wanted salsa with it, to which I responded yes. However, what I was offered was Sriracha sauce. Salsa and hot sauce are two very different things! The second time we went in the afternoon, ready for some baked goods. Unfortunately, there was not much to choose from. We bought a couple of cookies and a slice of banana bread. The banana bread had no banana taste but more of a gingerbread flavor. That was unexpected and not something I enjoyed. The people there were very friendly. The food I found underwhelming, especially for the prices they charge.
What a perfect spot on the river on a cold day! Warm, inviting and excellent food. We had the Red Pepper with Parmesan soup. ... delicious!Food: 5/5
Nice, friendly cafe along the river front. Brioche French toast among the best I've ever had. Good coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice adds to the experience.
Good coffee and good bagels. Service was very good! Avotoast and French toast were delicious, too. Very good place for breakfast. And you can sit outside watching the river.
Great little Cafe right on the waterfront. With Coffee, food, and iced cream. We always stop here whenever we walk down the waterfront. The staff is very friendly and it's nice to have a coffee break and or ice cream on a stroll. Worth the stop for sure. One of my favorite places to visit in the summer on a nice day.
My latest favourite breakfast place in downtown PDX. South waterfront views and bunch of brunch options. We went around 10 am and it was jam packed. Be ready for a few mins of wait time on weekends. We ordered one ‘savory breakfast with fried eggs and side of pancakes’ and soup of the day red bell peppers and parm cheese OMG! Super fresh and tasty food. Quality ingredients and I was especially impressed by the fruits and the rich whipped cream. Coffee and chai was good too. Highly recommend!!
