Had such a great experience at Little Pisces Taiyaki & Soft Serve! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, clean, and welcoming. The shop is beautifully designed with such a cozy aesthetic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and patient while we were deciding what to order.nnThe taiyaki was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and made fresh right in front of us. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail. We tried it with soft serve and it was honestly the perfect combination of warm and cold. The soft serve itself was super creamy and not overly sweet, which made everything taste even better together.nnI also really appreciated how fresh everything felt. Nothing tasted rushed or mass-produced. Even the presentation was beautiful and Instagram-worthy without sacrificing flavor. It’s rare to find a dessert spot that nails both aesthetics and taste this well.nnDefinitely worth the visit and the wait for fresh orders. This place has such a unique vibe compared to typical dessert shops in Vancouver. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into what they do. Highly recommend for anyone craving something sweet, comforting, and a little different from the usual dessert spots. Can’t wait to come back and try more flavors!
First time trying this place out. Overall dessert is yummy. Taiyaki is crispy and inside is mochi with spongy texture. It paired with the icecream really well. We got the rose tea & macha flavor. Yumm!nnI’ve been following the owner’s journey since the first store opens but never got the chance to try their dessert. The only negative I have is the place is a bit too small and tight for group to hang out. It’s understandable since the store isn’t that big.
We had a really wonderful experience here! Customers service was really good, the atmosphere of the cafe was also wonderful. Absolutely loved all the art on the walls. Now as for the Taiyaki, it was absolutely delicious. The Taiyaki’s are mochi based and we chose multiple different filling flavours; custard, Nutella, hotteok, pizza & biscoff. Although we enjoyed them all, the hotteok brown sugar, cinnamon and crushed walnuts and the biscoff filled taiyakis were the real showstoppers for us.nEverything from the customer service, interior design of the cafe and of course the food itself felt very intentional and you could feel the love and care put into everything.nLooking forward to coming back!
I always frequent this place with friends because the food and drinks here are delicious! They're too cute to even eat sometimes since they're just so aesthetically pleasing.nnUsually I'd come for the soft serve ice cream, since I personally enjoy the nostalgic asian flavours within their rotation, like their mango sticky rice flavour from a while back which I absolutely adored. Maybe bring back for the spring again...?nnToday I came to try one of their new hot chocolate festival seasonal drinks. The white rabbit candy hot chocolate drink was so comforting and imo perfect for the winter season. After taking cute photos, just make sure to mix the marshmallow rim into the drink using the pick provided to avoid a mouthful of only marshmallow fluff!nnThe customer service we received today was really refreshing as well. The cashier has a great sense of humour!
This was my first time visiting this place. It has a Japanese-style dessert concept where they place a freshly made taiyaki on top of a cup of soft serve. It looks really cute and makes for a fun dessert.nThe taiyaki was warm and slightly crispy on the outside, which went nicely with the soft serve. A nice little spot if you’re craving something sweet.
