Beautiful views and a great spot for those who can't manage a hike up a mountain. You can drive up to the top level then just shimmy over a small parking barrier and up a short, easy trail to see clear across. Stunning but with dangerous cliffs. No place for unleashed pets or children.
Set.2/2018 Wow a better view than I assumed. Easy access with a short walk from the parking lot.Carful at the cliffs as the drop off is a long way down.A very good view of Mt Washington and the valley below.This spot is a treasure and should be treat and promoted.Sadly! Parksville could do better in many ways because as it is why so much garbage is discarded at the site.Looking around garbage is thrown from those cliffs.
A short walk from the parking lot will bring you to the edge of the cliffs, with sweeping views of the surrounding forest and mountains; great location to catch the sunset as well.
One of my favorite places to visit and shoot pics! Worth the visit and definitely a hidden gem! Don't bring a larger vehicle tho, very narrow and steep road, if it happens to be busy there is no place to turn around.
Best view around. Generally pretty peaceful. Don't tell too many people about it and just enjoy the calm atmosphere with the incredible views :
