They don't even deserve 1 star. The dinner special for $17.99 what a rip off! The special was with a salad but it wasn't much and the garlic bread was more like biting into a cracker, the bread was very thin and only 2 slices. The portions were not worth it. My friend got the veal and the meat it was also small. They had no tap water to offer only the bottled water. And to top off this evening the owner was rude. Never again!!!
me and a friend stopped in for a veal after driving past multiple times over the years.. amazing sandwich with fresh and delicious ingredients! my only complaint was the price for the veal. it came to $10.20 with tax, and in my opinion it should have only been $7 to $8. But other than that, my meal was very enjoyable and I will be back to try their pizza and pasta
Rudest owner ever! I go to restaurants at least once a week, never have I been yelled at any restaurants ever before. We are a group of 9 people including 4 kids and 1 senior. We got to the restaurant around 1pm, there was no one else in the restaurant. There was a big table of 10, but the owner doesn't want to walk all the way to the big table in the other side of the restaurant, so I personally pulled 3 tables together so we can sit closer to the kitchen so she didn't have to walk as far. I didn't mind because she was elder and the only server in the restaurant. Then she was not too pleased that I didn't want to order the specials. Then when I asked for water, she brought out bottled water without asking. I haven't used bottled water for years, always used refillable bottle due to environmental reason. When I asked her to give me tap water instead, she started telling me that tab water is not drinkable. When I insisted, she started YELLING AT ME IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN FOR MAKING HER SERVING ME. I am pretty sure it's illegal not to serve tab water if your customers request it. If you don't want to serve people, then don't be in the service business. I checked the reviews on yelp later, found out she was rude to many other people, many of who are visible minorities like me. Very disappointed to say the least, that i have to counter such a terrible person on my vacation.
Was not impressed coming from an Italian that can surely relate to the home style cooking. We went for a veal sandwich...my veal was barely in the bun..my boyfriends was ok..one thing slice of veal.. a Caesar salad $10. 2pop $5. that took 25min to bring after we reminded the lady once she brought our veals...bill was $36. I was flabbergasted! Wasn't thinking to pay that for a simple veal and salad...1st and last time and, I was referred by my dad... I feel like I was just taken advantage of. .ripped off! Bad feeling...
This place doesn't even merit one star. It was absolute garbage. The chicken parm was old and rubbery; it didn't even taste like chicken. The penne arabbiata was bland and not homemade. It tasted like she had defrosted an expired michelinas frozen meal. The "garlic bread" was 4 crackers with butter and garlic. The service was slow and inattentive. One woman was doing all the "cooking" and serving. This all wouldn't be so bad if the meal cost $5 but my bill was a whopping $25. I didn't even complain while I was there but the server/cook kept making sarcastic remarks as well. Honestly the WORST place I have been to in my life. I hope this place shuts down soon so no more people are conned out of their money and time.
The worst service ever.! We ordered 2 speggetti,salad,garlic bread combo that says $17.99 Each. Took them 35mins for just our drinks we ordered. And after waiting almost hour and half we get served 2 garlic breads one salad and one speggetti order and are told they ran out of speggetti and we have to share our order. Very steaming at this point after waiting that long to have to share 1 order of speggetti. So we don't make any issues and shared the spaghetti. We go to pay for our food still hungry and find out that they say our bill is $41.23 so Obviously we questioned the server about our bill not making any sense But got no where like talking to a brick walk. Tells us she don't speAK good English and insists we owe that amount. We shook our heads and paid. Left hungry tired and angry about the situation.... Would Not recommend this place to anyone...
Ok ... first max of 2 staff this night.. holiday Monday.... our waiter didn't give us menu at first basically showed us specials on chalk board in hopes we'd order that. All specials were $17.99 I did not get what I ordered ... cook came out to offer me something else as they were out of what I requested cheese tortellini .. I was suggested the canelloni...... as we waited and watched for our food being the only other costumer other than one other couple ... watched our food go into the microwave!!!!! When i got my food it was still cold in some parts #lunchboxletdown I feel bad Girls were very nice but still was not any better than I would have got from freezer at grocery store. Ps. Not an Italian experience.. when you order bread .. it's just bread and butter no oil etc.
I went here early September with my family. Absolute worst dining experience ever! Was appalled by both the service and food. When we entered, the place was dead; we were the only customers. The menu seemed overpriced but we were optimistic, thinking the food must be great! Boy were we wrong. I stared in disbelief as the cook/waitress/owner microwaved some plates of food, telling myself that can't be meant for us. And lo and behold, it was. To make matters worse, it tasted old and mouldy. My wife, brother, and sister in law all had upset stomachs afterwords. To make matters worse, the waitress/cook/owner overcharged us. We didn't want to argue so my brother and I asked to split the bill. The lady literally yelled "Why are you making life hard for an old woman??!!". She then proceeded to huff and puff as she typed the amount into the debit machine. We were honestly shocked and angry at this point. By the time we were leaving, there was another group of women there, waiting for their food. At one point, one of the young women walked up to the bar and poured glasses of water for herself and her group because they had all been waiting so long. I would normally never do something like this, even after a bad experience, but I was so horrified by my experience here that I walked up to their table as I was leaving and told them it would be wise to leave while they could because the service would only get worse and the food was horrific. We left with the feeling of being robbed. It was our last day at Wasaga Beach and sadly it didn't end off on a good note.
Terrible service, had "coolers" on the drink menu - didn't have any whatsoever! Worst italian tasting food! Super cheap, ordered spaghetti and meatballs... ONLY GOT 2 MEATBALLS! Paid 55 dollars!!
I went on Saturday at 2 PM very excited to go here as I loved it growing up, they were closed I called 4 times since then to figure out their hours and no one has answered the phone. I don’t mind waiting nearly 3 hours to get a simple meal but to not be open when you say you’re open with no regard for the customer? That’s not okay. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else
