Gave this place a second chance AND WOULD NEVER ORDER AGAIN. I ordered lamb roganjosh, sauce is too watered down and tasted more like tomato sauce. Also garlic nan did not have any garlic on it, bread is too thick for nan and no taste to it. I would rather drive to Bombay Olive or Taste if India in West Hartford to have good food than order from here again.
Really solid Indian food tucked away in Simsbury. Never been disappointed with a dish and they are always very welcoming and happy to see you. Food feels like it came out of someone's kitchen as you're sitting in their house and the minor differences in the recipe between repeat orders only adds to the 'home-cooked' feel. This is truly a family operation and you're eating from their kitchen. Would not hesitate to recommend.
What an absolute gem in Simsbury! Was really craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine! And this location came up on Yelp! So grateful it did as the staff was so friendly and greatly accommodated us into selecting the Tika Masala! More than generous of a portion and has a beautiful interior + seating! If you are ever in the mood, please do not hesitate to do yourself the favor of stopping by and getting a meal! Great family own business & will 127% be back to try the Butter Chicken!

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean environment. Highly recommend!! Vegetarian options: Very diverse menu, something for everyone.
The owners were nice but the food was just not up to par. We love Indian food but this was not the best quality. The sauces were somewhat bland and looked to be water based and not the rich luxurious sauces we're accustomed to from other restaurants. Also, the rice was clumped together and stale... it had definitely been re-heated. It was just awful. We took some to go boxes just to be polite but we threw everything away once we go home. I feel bad being so brutal when the owners seem so nice, but I have to be honest.
Wonderful food. Just ate here tonight with 2 of my children. I was given a gift certificate that was generously donated by them. I had a fire in my oven and have no stove until few days after Christmas. This was not my first time here and each time we are greeted like family. I love the food and Indian music they play. Very nice people. Ty so much for ur generosity
All of the dishes we’ve ordered were excellent! In fact ...some of the best Indian food we’ve had. Plus, they are very thoughtful and generous: my husband liked to order the cheese in spinach sauce—but always wants more than what’s in a standard portion. When I asked for extra cheese in my online order and that I’d pay extra —the order came with lots of cheese and on the house! If you’re in the mood for Indian food go to Little India
This place is absolutely awesome! Me and my friend come in as often as we can and every time the food is just amazing, and great service! Will be back very soon! Lucky is absolutely awesome too!
Made the mistake to ignore reviews and gave it a shot to try their food. I can cook everything way better than what they served me. 15 dollars for lamb curry dish and I will be honest with you, it had 3 to 4 small pieces of meet in it. Chicken karahi by any standard did not taste like karahi. It was utter disappointment to see restaurants like these are still open and making dining experience a pain for people who want to try new places. Do yourself a favor and not go here. Also, entire restaurant had a very weird smell. It smelled like wet clothes that are left in dryer for long time.
